Wow wow time to pull the horses back alittle. I been proceeding on with my life in a fast pace and its time to slow it down alittle, dun you reckon?

My life has been totally out of my gasp these days and I found that my rash has not decrease by a single bit. So in a nut shell, I need to slow things down a little.

Thats not the point, recently I got myself contacts! Yes my friends, I am officially in contacts mode.

So how is it like being in contacts? Loading mode.

Basically, everything is steaming in front of you like a computer. Its gets clearer as the image starts to load which means that driving at night is a no no for me.

Hence I cant really see faces clear. I still not used to contacts and hence a little shy with that not like me in my specs haha!

Auckland habits

For starters, I have to admit that ever since I came back to Singapore, some of my actions and words are considered weird to the locals. One of which is my usual conversation pick up line that I used in Auckland 'So where you're from?'

I was trying to strike a conversation with a local and this was my first conversation and she looked at me with a puzzeled face and replied after I prompted her again and again 'Singapore lol'. This hit me real hard and for that moment, I realized that I am back in Singapore.

Other habits were the hiking habits that I picked up over there while trying to save money. My latest self record was walking from macperson mrt to city hall mrt. I pretty much proud of my bus 11 strength.

I never realized Auckland has such a huge impact on me, the other day where I let the television run, there was this program hosted by pornsak about the orgins of food and I saw the grey and white goose in the program and my heart is omg! thats new Zealand! but it turn out to be in Austrila.His hiking in the show makes me miss the hiking period that I did and all of a sudden, I just have that urge to hike around Singapore as well. Perhaps its like what May said: 'I'm sure you will find your way back here." which I'm certain am.

The third habit might be my lunch habit as the day is longer than in Auckland, I actually do have the need to prepare my lunch in case of any gastric acting up. My lunch box includes an apple or fruit/ one slice bread and a pack of hot make drink power. To the locals, they were like omg! this is certaintly not enough but to be honest my cravings disappear for the local food sold out there and when mum advise me to intake some rice and carbo as a balance, I actually cooked the dish my self: noodles with apples stir fry. Instead of 2 days, I find myself being able to share that normal portion to 3 days. Yes today is the 3rd day.

Note to self: I so need a mircowave, eating it cold is that awful!

Anyways, up to this point, no one tell me that I am weird but I could feel that to some I am weird. In the past, I would switch back to the norm but now I care less for it.

Life is never a single color but of multiples, this is the same for people in a country. I love my life style and I would want it to stay that way.Welcome to my life!

On the job hunt... and the power of reflection

For the past 21 days back in Singapore, I have been attending interviews after interviews. Most of the interviews turned out to be insurances or multi layer marketing.

The agents were recommending me jobs that pays $6 to $6.50 per hour for temp jobs and on the monthly scale, it was around 1300 to 1400 per month. This is like low. With all that negativeness, it sort of turn me back to what I was before I left for Auckland. Snacking and snacking at the front of my computer trying to drop resumes all the time.

Yesterday was 21 July 2010, I have a messy morning. My job agent send me the interview details last min and I have to take a cab down to science park 2 for an interview. The rocking of the cab made me dizzy and I was suffering from a mess head ache as I was waiting for the interviewer so I did something that I have not done for that long.

I closed my eyes and imagined that I was back in my apartment room 24A in Auckland. I got out of my room, walk towards the lodge area and then exit from the door to the carparks and walk up the slope towards the path to new lynn. But before new lynn, it was the sunday market. I recalled the noisy market, the locals shopping around and then on my way to the new lynn shopping mall where the kiwis were drinking and eating desserts, the stores there as well as the way back, the creek that I walked everyday, Unitec and my friends there. All that brought me a smile to my face as I recalled each of them. I open my eyes again, sure I was still in Singapore but my mind was totally lighter with the burdens and stress disappearing. I no longer feel the stress of the Singapore life and the duties that I have for.

The interview turn out great. As usual I was asked about my accent. Well this was something that I did not notice while I was in Auckland. Back in Singapore, the locals were asking me if I was a Singapore PR or was I a foreigner. Why? To the locals, I speak with an accent that was not the typical Singapore English. So to my peers in Auckland, have fun returning home with an accent haha!

After the interview, I listen to my heart once again and walk around in IMM like I did when I was in Auckland. I walked around Daiso and bought black sugar sweets which is so nice!

Then I took the train to east point and wrote my reflection on my diary. Here's what I wrote for my reflection:

'I decided that since it was so hard for me to re adapt back to the life of Singapore, Why should I forced myself back to the mainstream? I was kind of like forcing myself back to the mainstream til today. Therefore why don't I try to be myself, listen to my heart and try living in Singapore? I was snacking away during that 21 days and if I have not keep a close look out on my weight, it could bounce back easily. It was due to the stress from trying to bend in back the way of life in Singapore and my mind was getting heavier each day and my smile was getting weaker...After imaging of Auckland, my smile turn stronger and my mind turn lighter.'

Well speaking of reflection when I was in Auckland, every morning, I would spend time in front of my computer reflecting on what I did the day before. It was till the 10 days trip with Sunny that I bought a little notebook and wrote my reflection for each day in that book should I be unable to switch on my computer.

Since then, the book has been with me all the time recording my reflections, things i ate and i did as well as the resumes for the job applications that I submit online. Reflection sort of like highlight to the self of what they have been doing and make the individual realized their faults and try to correct it. If not for that book, I would have bounced back in my weight and not lose a kg. The other point that it serve, it keeps me motivated. As I read my past reflection in Queenstown, a smile was brought to my face.

Upon reaching at East point, i walked around the building, have my eyes checked and then walked home from east point. Its my weekly to do for keeping my legs in shape as well as seasoning my legs to enable them to cover further distances so that I could save more on the travel fares haha.

That night, I went to bed like old times at 8 plus.

Life back in Singapore

Today is 19 July 2010, its more than half a month since I touched down back in Singapore. I done a couple of meet ups with my peers here as well as rushing my butts off to and from one interview to another which turns out to be either insurance or multiple level marketing or data mining jobs. Job aspects was not that fruitful for a marketer inspirer, the openings are mostly for people with exposure in that area and the stress and reality of Singapore were falling on my shoulders, urging me to plunge back to the very world that I once left and to accept the way it is. At some point of time, it got me stress and snacking a lot. But luckily, I have my little note with me that has my reflections in Auckland as well as my thoughts at every moment in my life which allows me to maintain and lost one kg since I got back here. It acts as my motivation to stay strong as well.

In my next post, I might discuss about the power of having time for self reflection. But back to the topic that I want this post to have: The life back in Singapore.

Firstly, I did not really find Singapore the same back as the way I left it for Auckland. I mean things seems different. So what does it feels like? Here are some illustration:

1. Switching on the television for the first time since you return only to find the very channel that was familiar to you has a feeling of being foreign to you.

2. Totally piss off by the language that the locals speak and feel like shutting the television off after hearing them speak for some time.

P.S: Before I get bashed by readers, it is a fact that our English need to improve. When I was in Auckland, I came across my friend's blog and in her blog was a post about what a local choose to introduce to the class, Singlish... not the magnificent structure of our esplanade, our casino to be at Marina Bay Sands, our newly universal studio or our largest shopping center Vivo. Singlish was introduced to the class about the uniques of Singapore. Well I did not really want foreigners to remember Singapore this way. The way we speak with the la, hor, ar all that stuff. I want people to remember Singapore for its culture of how people treat each other or its world class buildings that somehow one could feel proud of. The other point of view as feedback to me was that Singaporeans spoke like a train with no stopping and lump their words all together. In Auckland, I was always to prove myself different and that I am from Singapore, a country that has more to offer and unique than Singlish. But, there is no denial that Singlish is what makes us unique and we could not bash the very aspect of it.Well for me, I will continue improving the way I spoke as I am more comfortable in speaking english now as well as confident in it.

3. Finding the main meals here too full for my consumption and hence it will be more worth off for me to cook at home.

4. Missing the english spoken in New Zealand as well as the servings of food there.

5. I miss my walkings there! and finding it hot in Singapore and cold in some of the shopping centers which i never felt that way.

6. Feeling unfamiliar with the streets of Singapore which I am suppose to be familiar with.

7. Finding clothes expensive and miss clearance of clothes in New Zealand but then I actually could save alot as my mum's old clothes could be worn by me now which save me lots!

8. Cotton on is my to shop list since it would be easier for me to find the size of clothes.

9. Fruits, vegetables has it cravings on me but not the others.

10. I snack at home but not when I am out as there was no crave for snack when I am out.

In a nut shell, my stage of life back here was like realizing how much I have changed, so much so that my views and values were different. Sometimes different from the main stream. My dress codes has changed and my old habits were minimum. I was finding work to do! Cleaning the house all day like what I did in New Zealand. Was it boring, not at all, it just give me a sense of satisfaction and that mum could rest more. Its been hard on her taking care of all the housework as well as my ever playful Ban! Well he matured too but still as playful and sometimes you just laugh at him.

Smile was like an everyday must do. Smile at my reflection or in the mirror, taking self portrait and smiling at the photo that I have taken. The best thing in life was to be able to smile again. Once you like your smile, you just love yourself each day even more. This is what keeps me motivated. Because I love who I am now, I will not do things that I do not felt happy with. The ability to smile again and pass that warm to others is dear to me now and I would do all I can to have that ability. Think about it give a smile to anyone and lighten up their life, as they smile back to you, your spirits gets lit and you feel good. It does not cost much to smile but its priceless to feel happy and good.

As feedback, I might have a slower readapting ability but facts are that I just not want to move back to the mainstream and be back at square one. Its my weapon to fend off the negative aspects of this very country. People tend to bend to reality and its negativeness and at times, its unhealthy to your soul and heart. I learn that whether a day turns out to be happy or sad, its really my choice.

So what are my new habits you might ask?

Well firstly, I spend less time on computers and more on housework.

Listen to BBC news to the very english accent that I missed.

Have a target of breaking to a smile everyday.

Oats, yogurt, milk for breakfast. None for lunch or a beverage during lunch and then some side meals such as buns or vegetables for dinner. No fast food, fried, oily or junk food (its good for the skin okies)

Reading Eat, Pray, Love currently. Yes I bought that book from popular. Reading it out loud to pratice my English.

At least jog, climb the stairs each day. A fruit a day or two?

Writing my feelings in my by the side notebook so that I know what I feel and what I want to be able to not bend myself into reality.

'Today is a fairytale' is my everyday must listen song because it brings smiles to me and to remind me to seek living life each day as a fairytale and that how bless life is for me. Life does not need to be in reality, it could be in a fairytale with positiveness and smile at situations. Nutshell: Enjoying moments of life as much as I can

My Auckland Journey

Times really flies, too fast at times. I remember when I first step into the lands of New Zealand, I was regretting for my stubborn decision to hold onto the opportunity of what most people wanted 'to be able to study and live life aboard'. I wasn't ready neither prepared to face what this foreign land has to offer. There was so much uncertaintly, so much things for me to learn, so much values for me to throw and adapt new ones.

I have to admit, I cried almost every day when I reached Auckland as I missed home alot and I was so confused with the system there. There were no friends that I could held on, no warm cosy home that I could run back to. I was like being throw out in the unknown, left to survive on my own till the endof june where I would return back to my cosy nest.

Life was hard when you held on your values and refuse to change. Sooner or later, I learn to accept the fact that I would be living in this country for 4 months or so and that I need to learn to be independent in finding my way around this country. Once you start to accept the fact and work on it. Life seems easier and less painful.

I am a person with a lot of pride and when I said something in my heart, I mean it. Before I went to Auckland, I told myself that I will not be like a cry baby and call home demanding for more money because my monthly allowance was not enough. It was not enough as the local meals costed twice as much in Singapore. Due to my pride, I work things out. I cooked my meals to save money on dinning outside and later on cut down on my intake of my meals to save my food stock for more days. If the food stock were expensive, I would make my way to the sunday market to buy cheaper fruits and vegetables even if they did not appear to be nice but to me as long as it was eatable and cheap, I would buy it. My mentality enable me to save more money to travel around Auckland so that I would not miss home that much and be sad all the time. It was this mentality that drove me to savage on chicken frames and salmon frames to subsitutue chicken and salmon, buy bee hoon that was not packed and laid on the ground in the market. If I wanted to travel on trips or need more money, I justsolf what I have like my lens, camera bag and my handphone to fund myself. So is my life really horrible there? No! even when I live my life like a savager, life has its meaning. So what if I survive on frames, eat unhygenic food? I gain more than I lose that is what I feel.

Firstly, I realised how important my family and friends mean to me. There was nothing that I wanted but to fly home back to their love. But still, I could not do that as there was still uncompleted business for me. Not just the semester but to grow up and change.

Next, from my new friends, I realised that the world out that is so much bigger and I am just that small. There is so many things that I did not know and life does not rotate around studies or work. Life has to have a meaning.

I think the most important thing that I gain from Auckland was that I learn to treasure my life even more. In the past like it or not, I used to hate myself but being there, I learn that life has its meaning and I learned to love myself bit by bit each day. I took photos of myself in the mirror each day, learn to smile again in front of the mirror. I was no longer complaining but thankful to what I have, what I can do and I was trying to lead life meaningful without regards. That got me to try things that I dare not do such as selling of bubble tea, wear boots, wear pink haha, try different fruits, coffees and learn about them. I was not afraid of uncertainty anymore. Things turn out simpler when you dare to take the first step to try and ask if you are not certain.

Travelling with Sunny around the south islands was like a dream come true. I always wanted to travel with a friend, learn how to travel free and easy and the best part is to touch and feel snow. Believe me when I saw snow falling outside my room in Queenstown, my heart was all joyed up and I rushed to the balcony with only t-shirts and pants to feel the snow, touch the snow, crush the snow in my hands. The snow was such a beauty. At that instant, it was like mircale. We were told that there was snow in the mountains but never did we expect snow to fall down in the hearts of queenstown. It was the happiest moment then. I learn to prefer flat white as my coffee from that 10 days. To me, a cup of flat white is full of surpises. Everywhereyou went, the pattern on the flatwhite would turn out different and you would never know that pattern drawn on the coffee unless you try it just like life itself.

Life was full of smile and happiness in Auckland. I learn to be grateful to what I have.

Its just seem so funny. I thought I would be dying to fly back home but never did I thought I miss Auckland. During the last few days in Auckland, I actually meet up with my friends there. For the first time, I felt the power of a hug. As I hug my friends, my heart turn sour, I missed them. I want to fly back to Auckland to see them again. I have to admit Auckland have become the turning point in my life and it sort of pull me back from the negative surroundings. I slowed down my pace in life, looked at things in a fresh prespective.

Back in Singapore, I was no longer anixous in the interviews. Things here was just not the same anymore. The language that the locals speak were so uncomfortable to me now, the way the local behave and things they do as well. As the realities sets in of job seeking and life back here, I know that I would be able to smile my way through. Why should I behave like everyone when I know that I would not like it. If I want to do something, felt like doing something I just do it.I wasted 20 odds years accomodating things around me and I am so not going to waste my future doing the same!

I recommend the movie of eat, pray and love or a similar title that I think would be coming soon to the threaters. Its about this character Liz Gilbert (Julia Roberts) had everything a modern woman is supposed to dream of having - a husband, a house, a successful career - yet like so many others, she found herself lost, confused, and searching for what she really wanted in life. Newly divorced and at a crossroads, Gilbert steps out of her comfort zone, risking everything to change her life, embarking on a journey around the world that becomes a quest for self-discovery. I find that the plot is similar to what I experience in Auckland, doing self searching of myself.

Well to start off the morning, after I have my breakfast, I was packing my stuff for check out and the south islands. Carried the bags to margaux apartment at about 11 and then went to check out the keys at the accommodation office but the book is still with Alok so I have to went back down the hill to 1510 to find him and fill in the forms before I went back to the accommodation office, fill in the bond form, get the form and proceed to the student center to get the cheques. So from 310, I went to 180.

At 180, I filled in forms and got my cheque went to the bank opposite the hub to get my cash out and then went to drop my clothes for recycle before I went to find my lecturer but she was not in so I went to Henderson. Thank Goodness! The care bear t-shirt is still there and I bought it and some fruits. Took the bus back to unitec, walk to the mart opposite to get a bar of biscuits and then back to the apartment where I took the 3 luggages to the station.

On the way to the station, a kind guy offered to drive me to the station and he drove me to avonadale station where I took the train to the city. Went to enquire of a bag but it turns out the model is not from Gucci so went back to the station and sat there waiting for sunny.

Sunny came and she has two luggages. Our luggage was so heavy and I cant even stand up straight. In the end, due to all the store within our reach being closed, Sunny have to settle for Subway again for dinner where she just have one for lunch while I was too tired so drank milk.

We took an airbus to the airport and check in, we didn’t know that we have to check in further to get a receipt and did that the last minute. Even when we see ourselves as having the most luggages, there was no space in the cabinet lockers for us to put our luggage so in the end, we settle our luggage under the seats as the seats in front of us is empty.

At 9.30pm, we reach chrischurch and it was 0 degrees. Took the red bus to the city and we walked to our hostel. On the way, Sunny felt hungry and bought herself a burger from KFC.We finally found it after a bar tender show as how to read the map that we have and when we check in, the room was like so disappointing. There wasn’t a private bathroom or toilet. It was a small room with two beds, one on the top and one below and a simple table and that’s all. I cannot register for an internet account as my mastercard expiry date is way longer than 2016. Its stupid. Oh well 10 days without the internet for me. Also, We couldn’t find the heater. After washing, we went to bed.

17 june 2010

Well, woke up at 5 plus in the morning as it was too cold so toss in bed till 6 past half before I took the bar of biscuits to the lodge to see if I can watch the news but then it was like people sleeping there so I cant. Went to the kiosk and buy a hot chocolate and ate biscuits as I insert a one dollar coin to surf for like 10 minutes. A company scheduled me for an interview with them like in july a few days after I reach home and the venue is in eunos.

Then went back to my room, get all my tools for bathing and went to bath and then after bathing, went out to walk around the hostel before I step outside. I didn’t wear gloves and soon find both my hands and feet stiff cold. I am wearing boots! Went back to the hostel, the reception was open so I asked for a towel and a heater and some extra blankets, Then went back my room to type. The receptionist came to our room with a portable heater and blankets and towers free of charge lol.

Then we went to mac to have light breakfast means 2 breakfast for me today and after that we went to walk around the city taking pictures and then to pak and sav to buy breakfast for the next few days.

We also went to the chapel at the other side of the city and then back to the city where Sunny ate lunch and I order 2 herbal tea eggs and treat her one of it. Then we continue walking to the square where we went to the chapel square and climb the tower to the peak of 100 plus steps and then back down. We then went to the visitors’ center and then to the southern encounter to look at the fishes and all that.

Then after that it was like 4 plus to 5 where all the shops closes and every thing turn dark so we walked back to the hostel rest before we went to have Mexican meal. I got a light meal and I could not finish it. We walk around the place before heading home and I was like feeling so bloated even 2 hours later! Shit there goes my effort of weight loss~

18 june 2010

Well, woke up and catch a long bathe with hot water before I proceed to the kitchen area and found free food such as milk, can of spaghetti, chocolates and jam. Told them back to my apartment and ate the chocolates some for breakfast, biscuits and a bread.

We went to check out the musemums. First is the maori follow by the art gallery which both of this sites did not allow us to take photos since it was copyrighted. The art gallery was so huge with lots of works by the artisit/ Then we head down to the Friday market which sunny and I settle for lunch. I bought a fruit pastry and she bought a cheese cake and a bread and a coffee.

After that we went to one of the must go, the museum and it was amazing what was installed for us. From the local culture to asian to mummy to the altanic. Its all in the museum. Then after the museum we went to walk around the botanic gardens which was so huge that we did not cover all.

We decided to come back tomorrow to visit the arts center. After the gardens we shop a while and went back to the bus exchange to get onto bus 28 to lynotton for the lighting up of the festival of light and the fireworks but there was no fireworks today and since it was a quiet place, we took the bus back to the city and went back to the hostel for a short rest.

Sunny decided to cash in her steak at the chancery and I am ok with it so we took another route there and find a place that we did not go before and the stores were open till 10pm (mostly souvenirs) Her place that she want to eat was close so we went to another one that I saw. The Oscars. She went to eat rib eye. The serving was huge and me? I order light meal of ocsar fishcake and the waitress was is that all?

My Oscar fish cake is actually 2 pieces of fish pastry grilled and comes with some salad. I ate that and drank water and it was filling.We chatted a lot about life, political views and stuff and I got to know more about this girl lol. After that we went to shop around the stores and I was there trying on the samples of chocolates and cookies since it was like expensive to buy as well as honey.

Sunny bought a badge and a key holder while I bought chocolate kiwi bar, sweets, handphone strap and badges. I meet a group of Singaporeans that were there on a tour and they were flying off tomorrow back to home. Its been ages since I heard the accent and I ask them how they find the food here and they say it was too salty. That’s cos they went to eat asian food. It’s a no no here lol.

After walking around, we went back to the room, have red wine and did some planning for the next day and I ate the bar of chocolates and biscuits >.<>

I really emvy sunny, she could eat and eat and stay in shape while I am opposite lol.

Well today is market day. Went to the france market that was near our accommodation and then walk around. It was a small market. Got a small pastry where I share half with sunny.

Then we went over to the secondhand books store where I bought 2 books from it and its heading to the arts center for us. There was another market and I was like exploring the stores, bought a seasalt chocolate for 2 dollars and a pura shell for a dollar.

Then we went to see a show of performance by a street performer. After the show. We went to explore more of the market which I bought Indian pastries for sunny and wanted to let her have 2 but she only have one and I end up eating the 3. It was too much for me! Feel regretful after it!

We then went to explore the arts center and then try exploring the boys’ college but it was not open for public and then we went to punting. It was like riding a small boat across the steam a bit of the Venice atmosphere and then it was the tram ride for us. After that we walked to the central library and then I sneak into farmers and weight myself. With 4 layers of thin clothes, bootes, a cap, a scraf and 2 layers of pants, I weight a horrible 68kg! omg!

Went back to find sunny where we went to the oldest building in Christchurch but its close so we went to the café to surf. I surf for an hour for $3. My business process management lecturer has not given back to me my results for assignment 1 which is like wth!

After surfing, walk back to the hostel to put my stuff and rest and I fell asleep. Woke up at 7 plus and went with sunny to an Indian restaurant. The poor girl is starving while I was like tired and want no food into my body.

Think we are like opposite at times. We been walking all the time for the past 3 days and she was feeling hungry all the time and I was not. But still have to eat dinner or lunch with her and my orders were all half of hers and she was like worrying about me for eating so little. But its like after walking, I just went to sleep! And 7 plus dinner is too late for me.

Anyways at the Indian restaurant I order 3 sides. One banana and coconut. Archa and something that I dunno which is so hot! That one I take like half and left it while I finish the other 2. Was like so bloated even when I go to sleep at 10 plus to 11. Hell! I want to lose weight man!

Got up and wash up before I lay in bed to wait for sunny to get up. She did at about 9 plus and we have breakfast and went to the Sunday market in Christchurch. The market is bigger in space and in scale than the one in Auckland but then not much fruits are sold here. Most of it is their cultural stuff. I bought a teddy and sunny got herself a old tin can box.

Then after touring around, went to have lunch. I got myself a red bean bun where Sunny got herself Mexican food nachos!!

After the Sunday market, we asked for directions to get to the air force museum and we walked there to the museum which is a couple of streets to the main road, an overhead flyover and cross the road, walk into the museum. Sunny went to rest herself in the café while I continue to explore. There were lots of aircraft models, badges and things that were used by the pilots.Then there was a wartime home where we get to see how the houses were like during war time..

After the museum, we catch a bus to city but the first bus, we got on does not go to the city and the bus driver drove us to the place we can catch the bus to the city and horn the front bus to wait for us. Nice!

We got to the city and try walking to the south city where I want to buy shoes as my boots worn out after like less than 3 weeks of wearing them and water wet my socks!

We got to count down first and we went to buy stuff for Tuesday and Monday breakfast. I finally got fruits! 1 banana, 1 permesian and 2 or 3 apples! While sunny got herself a bread and chocolates!

After shopping, we walk to the south city where I try on various shoes and bought one for $20 that’s like converse but not converse lol. The other one that I though of is a purple one but looking at the sole underneath, I rather buy this one.

Rush to the square to take the tram ride around the city and then went to the oldest cinema to watch sherk forever after which was good!

The movie ended at about 7.30 and we walked to a thai restaurant, Today I felt hungry after eating the banana. Given that the sides are mainly fry, I ordered a main course which is duck rice with red curry and the serving is the one that is from Singapore ! its about 10.90 but duck dishes are not that common here expect for roast duck rice. I ate some rice, the rice was good and not too hard like the Indian one yesterday and then the meats, the duck, onions, green pepper, tomato, pineapples. It was like almost the same serving or more from yesterday sides but I did not felt that bloated. The curry was sweet and a bit salt.

After the meal, it was getting too cold for us and we went to our room and after wash up and throwing away the bootes, went to sleep. .

Woke up late today at 7am and went to wash up but before that went to have breakfast a permanisan fruit. It was raining and we have breakfast at about 9 to 10 am. Then we try walking to the provisional center, the oldest building in chirstchurch but then it was raining so sunny decided to relax in the café.

Ordered a short black and have it for the first time then continue walking to the provisional chambers where we explored. After that we try walking to the contemporary arts center but it was closed today. Sunny was hungry and we walk back to the city MUM’s restaurant where sunny have her lunch and I watch her eat haha!

We went to the fudge factory to register for the tour but it was cancelled and we got free fudge for making the trip there and we bought some chocolates since the lady was so nice. After that, we proceed to the art gallery to look at another exhibition and then walk towards the square to catch a free shuttle bus to the casino.

Nothing much at the casino and I saw how they gambled so was like -…- omg! This is like throwing money into the sea. After one round walk, went out and took the bus around the city for a round and went back to the backpackers where I fell asleep and then woke up ask sunny if she feeling hungry and out we went to the nearby india restaurant that I found when I walk down further. It was better than the first one, we went and I ordered a main course since I was feeling rather hungry and I take home the roti chenai as I could not finish. I finish the main dish and half of the rice. My dish was actually jackfruit cook in curry with bread and rice. I miss jackfruit lol and I never thought that you could cook jackfruit in curry haha

We went back to the backpackers, did some packing for tomorrow and then I blogged as tomorrow is a early flight to queenstown.

Well, we miss the bus to the airport so we have to take a taxi to the airport. The taxi meter was running like in speed and we got to the airport at about 40 dollars -…-“

Well, we took jet star and after an hour flight, we got to queenstown. The mountains were in snow and we sort of went to check in but since the room is not available, we have to leave our luggage in the storeroom and then walk around before we check in. Queenstown on the first day was not as cold as Christchurch. We went to a nearby café where I ordered flat white and a cookie and sunny her usual haha. We sat there to plan our activities and waited for Sandra to meet us at 12 for lunch. We went for lunch together and I finish the museli that I ordered and after a walk around the lake, Sandra went to her backpackers to get her stuff to go to another place.

After Sandra left, we went to check in the backpackers and book our cruise for tomorrow. Then since it was raining, Sunny did not have any dinner for that day and we went back to the hostel where we wash up and sleep. Before that, I saw Peiying and val there! They went to syndery to study for their bachelors and its like amazing! Fancy meeting people I know in the part of the world and in the same hostel. Sunny went to buy her dinner at the supermarket. Did not eat dinner.Have 2 hours call home and the place was like so noisy! Did not sleep well as it was too cold for me.

Woke up at 5 plus after a not so well sleep and went to have a long hot shower. Got busy with my stuff at 6 plus to 7 where I decided to go and view the scenery outside. It was snowing in Queenstown. I was so happy to touch and feel the snow!

But then later, we discovered that due to snowing, buses would not be available hence we did not go for the trip of the double deck bus tour but was like went to the same café to drink hot water and then walk around the town to see the snow!

We build a first snow man! And then after walking around the snow, Sunny went to have her lunch at macdonalds and then we went to take the cruise tour. It was nice around the lake. After the cruise tour, we walk around town before we head back to the dorms and I slept while Sunny went outside to buy dinner for herself. I was too tired to have dinner.

Woke up, have breakfast and bathe and then went with Sunny to take the double decker tour. It was colder than town of the places, we are taken to. Went back to town after the 3 hours tour and felt warm haha! We went to the paragon café to have coffee and then while Sunny went to print her pictures, I ran around to buy a book and to jays jays for clothes haha!

We then hike around the city and walk around the lake, it was nice weather to hike and also to walk around as it was not that cold!

Went to the supermarket to get apple and instant noodle and eat with sunny after that. Tomorrow would be the last day that I would spend in Queenstown and also the last time that I would see Sunny so we settle on a restaurant to eat france food.

Took the first bus to arrowtown and was like exploring the first place that’s the museum when my stomach ache and I was stuck in the toilet for close to 5 hours. Went out 1 plus and was shaking here and there. The ladies in the museum would not let me out of their sight till the ambulance came and me and sunny went to sit in the ambulance where they check me out.

It turns out I need to eat more leafy vegetables not just wheats and also more fluids into my body because I have a bawler block. And my shaking was due to being in the cold for too long. My lips were purplish. Since I was ok and the ambulance were not on the way to town, that means me and sunny would have to wait for the 4pm bus. Got to the café to get warm water and hot chocolate before we go to the supermarket to get soaps and weetbix and yogert for my stomach.

Took the bus home where I went to buy cookies for magraux and then went to have yogert and a bar of weet bix before I went to the shower to wash myself off from the smell as well as the clothes too.

At night, went to the france restaurant to dine and then went to view the fireworks before I went back to call mum. Sunny got a present for me so I went to buy her a bar of dark chocolates. Then pack my stuff and sleep.

Woke up at 4 plus as it was too cold. Went for a hot shower and have weetbix before and after that as I was hungry then rest till 6 where I went out to hae coffee, yogert and weetbix.

The breakfast come at 7 and I took some bread home and ate 2 pieces of white bread with jam before I check out and wait for the bus to the airport.

At the airport, got myself a banana, kiwi and flatwhite to keep myself warm. Feeling like a pig now! But then its important to stay warm. Then sit at the airport to blog lol haha.

Well, went into the airplane, the plane was delayed due to the flog in Auckland and it was up in the air for 2 hours before it landed in Auckland. Took the airbus home followed by the bus as my stuff were too many. Magraux let me into an empty room in her apartment but we have to be careful as they might be surpise checks or that someone would move in. Lets hope not for the 3 nights.

Repacked my bag and hang out the clothes that I washed yesterday to dry.

Its seems that old habits die hard, I woke up at about 9 plus yesterday night to eat 2 weetbits and then as the floor was hard, I woke up at 5plus to eat weetbits 2 and then went to the toilet to bathe as well as ended up cleaning the sink for magraux.

Went back to my room and did some packing of the items into lesser bags so that in case if there was a surpise check, it would be faster to move my stuff.

Then see if the clothes are dry, fold the clothes that are dry into the luggage and the lighter check in one is now heavier than the big luggage lol. Connection here is not as good as in my previous room, might be due to it being further from the campus.

Well I am waiting for at least about 7am before I went to the Sunday market haha and then from there to St lukes or lynn mall haha.

Went to the Sunday market and then eat 2 fruits and from there went to new lynn to shop and to like take the bus to st lukes. Did the shopping at st lukes today and was like so many of the chocolates but they are not for me. Sunny taught me to eat dark chocolates and when I mean dark its 85%

Anyways ate main meal and gain weight today. I have to give in to take some vegetables to restore my system back to what it was lol but not the weight!

Well did have a gathering with sin before I went to the airport and before that take photos with magraux and Jamie as well as hung.

Spent a night in the airport and after just like a flash and I am back in Singapore. This would be where the next stage of my life will begin.

Two days before I move out. Woke up at 6.30 am to catch the news and then went around cleaning the house, still ate 3 fruits as the apples are ripping. Apples ripe fast.

Then went to Henderson to kill time and walk around there. Bought a wallet and then went back home to hand in my last assignment and also to eat dinner before I sleep haha!

Got up early to clean the house and my room. Well I been cleaning it all the time lol. Have breakfast with 3 fruits again haha. Then the fourth fruit at 10 plus. Went to new lynn and bought bread and a cake then went back home to tidy up again and scrub the floor 3 times before I message the ra to see if he is coming. He came at 6.30pm and after checking it was all clear and I lift a burden off my shoulders haha. I finally did blur out the truth when one of my friends hit the jackpot. I been waiting for one of them to hit the jackpot so that I could expose the truth. The truth is up to today I lost 16 kg since I got here lol. Well went to sleep late and tomorrow it’s the south islands!

Been a pig today ate oats with 3 nuts bars what the hell for breakfast. I thought I control my temptation but at times guess now. Feeling horrible.

Walk to st lukes and back, the bootes are killing my feet lol! Thong drove his car to pick up may’s stuff from my room at night and then its pizza night. Since there is 4 of us left means each of us get 4 slices of pizza and 2 slices of garlic bread each. Left two for breakfast. Thought that eating pizza would make me go to toilet like it should but it didn’t.

Well Friday is here! Went to submit business process management assignment before I went to email the lecturer on the result for my assignment 1 and then took sunny to Henderson when we visit a Korean restaurant.

Since food is about $10 here at foodcourt, why not pay a bit more to get more quality meals from restaurant and when they put $14, its $14. Sunny order some kimchi meal and I ordered a meal of fish for $14. The servings was great as it was not double of what you get in food court. Basicially food court meals stinks! It’s the same all the time and the way they cook the food makes you rather go subway or macs lol.

We walk around the mall before we went home and I gain another kg from the two days lol.

Its Saturday and a lousy morning for me. Been in the toilet for an hour and this means that I would have to clear my stomach which means fruits and milk for dinner. Went to Lim’s market to buy another milk and then apples and now my favourite parsian fruit.

Then before dinner chat with cousin and then make dinner, warm up milk and eat the mardian fruit. Went to toilet and was feeling hungry so ate another cup of oats with an apple.

Watched sherk 3 before sleeping.

Its Sunday, have pasta and 2 apples before I start cleaning the room and the common areas again. I did that every morning since the start of june.

Went to Sunday market and got so wet as it was raining. I figured I need to clean my stomach so I bought sweet mardian and apples. Making a total of 15 fruits in my basket which is 3 for each meal. One thing about mardian, wait for it to get ripe if not its not that sweet lol.

Walk to new lynn to walk around and buy another hoodie for $20 in case my hoodie is not enough for the weather in the south as queenstown is snowing!

Went home ate dinner and felt bloated lol. Guess I have to cut down to 2 fruits and milk for each meal. Then at 8 plus, went to bed haha

Their traditional drink that is worth the weight gain!

Unlike the asian food, this is original and not kiwified to suit the local taste and the serving is not double.

True enough, the power was low and we are out of power. Ate the breakfast that I cooked yesterday and then went to the presentation.

Presentation turn out well and then went home to work on business process management which I need to clarify with the lecturer today about the 2^nd last part of it.

Ate fruits for dinner a lot ok and then went to have studio shoots taking or photography practice. We did a mini story and it was so fun! Drop my sun glasses in class and I have to collect rom the lecturer next week meaning that I cant skip the lesson lol haha.

Well work up an have breakfast then bathe an went to the computer labs to scan my images and to print them an then went back home to stick all those images. Watch the tvb drama till about 4 before I went to meet sunny. There was free hot dogs on the go so I got one before I meet with sunny to dicuss our plans to tour the south.

Attended the last lecture of business process management and her project was due on the 11 june. That’s means I would have 2 assignments due on that day lol!

Well I let her go through, there are some refinements I have to make and then I off to the last 2 parts of the report. Want to get things over and done with lol.

May moving out on Wednesday and then next Wednesday it would be my turn then huang well have to keep it clean till then. Not done final packing yet as I still need my stuff till 11 june lol.

Took a bus to new lynn as the wind is so strong and that I not feeling that well and tired. Went to print my photos for my assignment and then walk around, bought a stocking at $5 and 2 for May. Then went around widow shopping before I collect my photos and shop more. Its finally Monday, the day that I dragged to come as it was presentation day and also the last day of working in the HR group.

As usual, a certain member of the group is critising about the report and why did we print out the report that early because a grammer mistake, the conclusion and recommendation wasn’t number as stated in the guidebook she has. FOR GOD STAKE! HAVE A MIND OF YOUR OWN! STOP FOLLOWING THE DAMN GUIDEBOOK! WHICH PART OF GUIDE DO SHE NOT KNOW! She then try shifting the blame to me that I did not do as she told me to. I could have snapped back but I just rebutted that to me conclusion is a summary of what is in the report and NUMBERING IT WOULD BE MEANINGLESS AND THERE IS NO NEED TO IT AS WELL AS RECOMMENDATION AND THAT I DID THIS FOR BOTH REPORT AND ESSAY FORMAT!

Then she trash out the issue on why did we make decisions without her being present. COME ON! LIKE IT OR NOT THERE IS STILL A NEED TO MEET TODAY! AND ITS 3 TO ONE! SHE TOLD US THAT IF WE NEED HER, WE TEXT HER BUT SINCE THE REPORT IS ON THE WAY, WE DID NOT NEED HER HELP SO MAKING A SIMPLE DECISION IS NOT SO HARD THAT WE NEED TO SEEK HER HELP IS IT AND ALSO SHE DIDN’T SAY WHETHER SHE WOULD BE COMING BACK LOL!

Her point of view was that, we should also meet in the weekend but I need to do other stuff, others need to work and EVEN WHEN WE DO MEET, WHAT CAN SHE DO BUT TO PICK ON THE REPORT? She is not those that would help other members to make the report better and only do her crappy part. She say WHAT CAN SHE DO BUT NOT TO STUDY STATS SINCE HER PART WAS DONE. I WAS THINKING YA RIGHT, YOU COULD HAVE SEE WHAT IS NEEDED FOR IMPROVEMENT ON YOUR PART AFTER I EDITED ALMOST 90% OF YOUR PART LIKE YOU DID ON THE FORMATING -………-

FOR THAT REPORT, I EDITED 80% OF THE OVERALL REPORT TO GEAR THE REPORT TO FLOW AND HIT THE QUESTIONS MORE ACCURATELY AND BEFORE THAT I DID TOLD HER WHAT IS THE APPROIATE WAY OF DOING HER PART AND SHE DID NOTHING! AND ON THE BACKWORK, SHE’S LIKE DIRECTING EVERYONE AND IN FRONT OF PEOPLE, SHE LIKE SUPPORTIVE AND TRYING TO ASSIST LEADING THE GROUP. I LIKE WANT TO PLUKE!

ALSO BECAUSE OF BEING SO MAD AT HER, I COMPLETELY FORGOT WHAT I HAVE TO SAY DURING THE REHERSAL OF THE PRESENTATION. After writing them down and rehearsing for another 3 times, I am much more confident in it.

Our group was the second last group to present and with the presentation start of with her, I was like shaking my head in the head as if the lecturer was to read the report, he knows who done her part cos her slides that she create does not tally with the information on the report,its more towards theorical than what I put as pratical and she took a bloddy 6 minutes. AS I WAS DOING METHODS, CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS WHEN IT WAS MY TURN I WAS ALREADY IN THE TRANS MODE, I JUST SHOOT OFF WITH WHAT COMES TO MY MIND WITHOUT REFERRING TO THE NOTES I MAKE EARLY AND LINKING THEM WITH THE PRATICIAL EXAMPLES IN THE REPORT AND WHEN IT COMES TO A QUESTION ASKED, I JUST SHOOT WHATEVER COMES TO MY HEAD. IN THE END WE DID NOT MEET THE 20 MINS GIVEN BUT LONGER.

Tuesday morning is the second last lecture of the brand and in the lecture was much more of discussions. In the discussions, we were to express our strengths and weaknesses. One of which that I discover was my indecisiveness and confidence still lacking as well as not being objective enough to turn a black face.

I contemplated on skipping photography as there was a test on Wednesday but then the reason I came here was for this so I went there in the end. It turn out great from the past few boring lessons. We got to do studio! And I got to use my camera to take pictures of my group in raw, well I should set it to jpg but good thing though, looking at raw pictures with tripod I see more detail than if it was to be in jpg. Oh well my current software did not support raw that well and it would be troublesome to convert raw to jpg. Also my assignment was to shoot in raw and convert to jpg but I already done it and lets hope quality would be the same when printing in 8 by 10 inches.

After the lessons, there was a rain storm and I have to walk back to my apartment. By the time I return, I was all wet and have to leave my cameras to dry.

Getting a break from the test, use the 3 stage fare to explore the lines in Auckland and not much to see as there are few locations that are heavy located with shops, bought a third luggage. Then went to biotromart and to mid city, got the most expensive gift for bro -.- he and his bear -.- and then went to Victoria market to get some accessories lol, spend a lot today. Have a chat with mum, she say that I should just give ip man 2 a go since its in Cantonese. Well went home to do branding and then sleep.

Well woke up have breakfast and work on my brand assignment before I went to meet my team mates for meeting and to the accommodation office to see how it went, turns out that I would need a letter from my lecturer so I went back home eat lunch and then email the lecturers as well as left the house earlier to find the lecturer to write the letter. After walking in and out at 4.30pm, he came and on the spot, he type the letter for me. Attended the lecturer’s class later. Test was postponed to next week and after that went home to rest haha.

Well, did branding and edited training and development before I went to the motat to do my photography assignment.

I was like an idiot taking a bunny around the place and taking photos. One thing about the motat is that its only $8 and the sights are worth more than the zoo near by. Went around taking photos and then took some with me in it. Then when I finished taking photos it was close to 5 which the motat close and I have yet to visit motat 2.

Went home load the pictures from my dslr to the computer but the pictures from the point to shoot isn’t working hence that would be less uploads for me on facebook.

Woke up and did parts of business process management and then off to the Sunday market and new lynn. Bought things for $40 at the asian market and then carry them home. I think I be having the need to buy another bag for my luggage cos I be packing and my large one is officially full!

Went to meet sunny where we booked the accommodation for our stay in chrischurnch and queenstown. Queenstown is more expensive due to the location and the season then went home to watch the rock movie and do more of business process management. Luckily that I was only surfing at the moment the whole neighbourhood and campus went black out.

Woke up and like surf the net, read photography and did some branding. I realized that I ate a lot if I too stressed with my work load lol. Today was like 3 apples in the morning. 3 slices of bread and lamb and oats a bowl for dinner. Ate 3 choclates, after lesson went to yahui’s bf apartment to interview the couple and their friends and then home for a banana! Its too much!

Well went home and hit the com to type the findings of the interview that I did that far lol haha!

Went for brand and have an intense session there, got so tired and headache! Interview with sunny and went to st lukes to unwind. The wind was so strong that it gives me dizzy spells so got an apple to save the day and then went home to cook dinner and then facebook before I go bath and type implications for the report.

Went to the city to sell something and the seller was a Malaysian, we chat about the things to do in new Zealand and then went to walk around the city before I proceed home to bathe and then pick up my bag to meet sunny to discuss about our plans for the semester. Then photography class and then its home for me. Did read on business process management chapter 1.

Well woke up and like do abit of work before I move to the hub to do the focus group. It was intensive talking about providing feedback so that the school could perform better and we got a 40 dollars vocher in the end also a chocolate cake! That’s my second chocolate cake in new Zealand :D!

Then went to Henderson and my hand was itchy so I bought another bag when I did not even use the first yellow one that I buy lol! 40 +40 is 80 on bags le -….-

Went to buy bread and milk and then went back to edit the brand assignment to send to lety and then chat with sunny on the plans for the end of semester. I be going to the south island from 16 june to 26 june. Sunny would be staying there longer and we booked our tickets. Its like $60 from Auckland to Christchurch and christchurnch to queenstown and $83 from queenstown to Auckland lol.

Woke up at 5.30am to get ready for the black water rafting that was at 7.45am. it was a long way there and I packed an extra clothes, my bathing tools and towel and windbreaker in case it rain. We got there like 10 plus to 11 and our group is the first as it was a water activity, we cant bring our cameras into the tour. Went to wear those heavy wet suits and was walking like a penguin! Then we went drove to a place where we get our tubes that fit our butt and then practice jumping backwards. I landed in the water in the attempt and they give me a bigger tube. Then we walked to the cave, it was freezing and climb into the dark and cold cave. There was another one and I jump and hit the water again -.-, they give me another bigger one -…- I guess I was so cold that I turn stiff when in the tour, I fell down and got up and crawl through the caves with rocks and icy water. Then come to the final one and I did not jump but crawl down as I know I was too sniff to bend my butt into the tube then we went floating in the tube and I slip out T___T and then they push me into the tube when I paddle for a while before we hit shallow grounds and stand up to walk again. We had a chocolate fish before we went further and at the point to see the grow worm, they push me into the tube again and I was floating away from the group and they have to drag me back to the line. I was last so my hands were holding on the tube and not on someone’s shoes and the tube was in the water, my hands were stiff further from the icy water!

The glow worms was nice, it was like the one I saw on tv last time. The glow was their shit and they use the glow to attract flys to their web and then once the fly is in the web, they would collect the web and eat them. Their life time is short and they only live in the cave all their life. It was like watching stars in the sky but the water was so cold as we were way below the ground and plus it was raining -.-

Then it was walking and then to find our way out of the cave, the guide paddle me as I was not that well in the tube -….- and then I try paddling too the hands was so stiff and you can blow smoke from your mouth.

We finally found daylight and then walked up from the cave to the van, my hands were so stiff that I cant button my seat belt then once back at the base, we were to take off the heavy suits which was hard and then wash them before we return it. Here’s a culture crash when they say hot shower, dun belive them. It was just hot water for you to wash yourself clean as there was no door in the showers so my bathing tools is extra lol

My hot shower went cold and then I just went out use my towel to dry myself, put on my dry clothes with my swim suit inside and warm coat and went to get soup and bread. The soup was great tomato and help me defrost a lot. I have 3 of them and two bagel haha!

Then ray drove us to the museum and we went to picture taking there and then back home. Slept through the way there and back home. Reach home at 6pm and went to have a hot shower! And then write the blog…

Well did not study for business process management for the two days as I was too tired yesterday and too busy today. Make the wildest idea, I decide to cook curry fish and invite those I know to eat. Wanted to invite margaux but the food was running low so decided to apologize to her after all, it would not feel good to come and see all food empty lol. Ya hui bought chilli power which I learn that curry powder and chilli powder needs to mix for the curry to get spicy so there is 2. One is assam not so spicy the other one is the spicy and hot one. And using sweet chilli and coconut I made sauce for the cat fish that was with the pack of fish I buy.

I buy the fish for $5 and it was huge! So pai say that yahui and her boyfriend cook rice and bought char kway dao for us -….- lol huang went to buy more bread and coke haha and after the feast, I cleaned up and went with Sandra, sunny and sandra’s friend to watch robin hood. My first time in Auckland cinema!

Well work up today to get a haircut as my hair was too long and turning bittle till I cant stand it. Went to the student hair cut service to get my hair trimmed and the people working there were students. They use only scissors to trim my hair lol. It was like with wash, cut and blow dry for $25. Then I went to the lab to type out my training and development project and then went to st lukes to get some shampoos and conditioner with my first $20 vocuher. Got a travel pack, one shampoo and one conditioner, tibits at 22.70. Then went to buy dark chocolate 2 of them at 4.70 to test on. After st lukes went home to put my stuff and then to school.

The lecturer’s requirements of training and development cause me to rework my part adding examples to it. With the postponed of the test, feel more stress all of a sudden.

Wasn’t a day for me. Got the news that there was nothing unitec could do to send my official transcript out earlier at the end of june. The earliest was in july. So hanitah told me two situation.

My mood was totally spoiled and I was unable to focus in brand. After brand went to park and sav bought milk and oats before I went to the accommodation office to see the officer for an early move out and there was problems again and tomorrow I have to see her to see if I could do that -.-

Went back have a cool shower and work on my training and development, study business process management and then chat with my family over the phone. Its just like totally have to wait and see the flow now.

Woke up, got oats in milk and then sat at my room and start to blog about the events. Then cooked dinner and went to Henderson to walk around. Went back to unitec at 5pm and have dinner and to the training and development class. Meeting with group on Friday from 2 onwards.

Went to class and have a class lecturer then went to dress smart with sunny and bought t-shirts at 11 dollars and cents each and a thick top at $30 dollars from cotton on. The weather is getting colder with 14.7 degrees outside now and the max for the week is like 18 to 19 degrees. Went home to eat dinner with lots of chilli and begin to type my idea for brand.

Woke up and did brand brief and some survey questions just in case, then bathe. Someone moved in from another apartment, its Kristina friend and me and hung did helped out to carry stuff over. Went to new lynn and to buy apples, milk and then to home where I have dinner and to class. Class ended early and I was given some free time as I haven really start on the group project yet.

Well wake up, breakfast, bathe and hang out in the lab before I head down to western springs to explore the area, its abit of the botanic gardens alike there, there was this lake filled with ducks, goose and black swans haha! And they were like trying to get food! The Black swans were not afraid to get close to you. Of cos when walking, please be sure to see if there is gold mine at the floor haha! Well woke up and went to the accomdation office to get extra power cards and also to get the details for my check out. Checking of apartment would be on moday and Tuesday get keys and Wednesday is check out for me haha that’s towards the end of june lol. Then went to hr meeting and after an hour went to Henderson to walk and then home

Found out that hung and may are leaving the apartment in the early june, not sure of Kristina but I figure might be about the same time as me. Should I have another sem here, I will move out of here maybe to the 310 ones haha! But a semester is enough as I missed home badly!

Went to slyvia park with Sandra and sunny for Sandra to get warm clothes, well went to jay jay and spend on clohing again and then went for lunch. By the time I got back is 2 plus to 3 which is a really not so good timing to go out again so I read my textbook and looking at what I should do for brand which is going to be due on Friday. Did a count and realized my clothes is much more than I bring here -….- omg! How am I going to carry home haha so no more clothes buying for me, its too much le.

Its mothers’ day! Lucky for me, I uploaded the video for my mum a few weeks ago if not I be crying or hacking the wireless system on this day at night it was just too slow for the even uploading of pictures to the email and sent! Many that I know are moving out for their next semester, guess cos this place is not that environmental friendly for study or rest.

Anyways took my friends to the sunny market for them to explore, they didn’t buy much it was I that buy the dvds for $20! Xiao zhu and rainie show is out omg! Then we went to lynn mall to meet sunny and walk around before we went to the Malaysia cusine for lunch!

The 6 of us ordered sweet and sour fillet with rice, curry fish fillet and vegetable with rice, hainanese chicken rice, char kway diao, curry chicken laksa, fish head mi fen and belacan kang kong. My curry fish fillet was abit on the oily side but the fish head noodles although big but its more less oily with milk and sour vegetables in it. Singapore’s vision has no sour vegetables in it. Hainese chicken rice is ok but the chilli was not the real chicken rice chilli, char kwoy diao good, curry chicken noodle good. I just dun like the fish to use fish fillet, probably cos its fish fillet that’s why its oilier. But overall, it was good. It did remind me of the food back home.

One thing to note here, food has been kiwified, its not spicy as the orginal. For china dishes, it might not be that salty or heavily in taste. And here the fish I see is mostly fillet haha

With the 7 dishes, each of us paid 15.55 which is worth more than going there and ordering alone.

Wake up, put on my swim wear and pack up before Ray took us to the hot free spa, it was such a long ride from the hostel which is not like the map indicated so near! The spa was a nature river and it was like smoking mist all the way! Went into the water, it was so good! A good way to start off the morning and pictures too! The rest cant take pictures because it was so dark in the night haha!

Rush back and I was stuffing my stuff and breakfast before Ray drove us to mac donalds where the rest have breakfast and I got a macchiato for the first time at $2.50. Drank it and went to the sky linners where we got to play for 3 rounds. The first round at the scenic track was smooth and I got video my ride but then the battery went low lol! So ya, speed down and then went for the intimate one which was more extreme and I crashed at the steep slope! Pulled the cart out and went down again. Then it was 12pm but wasn’t feeling hungry and went with sunny sam and Sandra to get lunch which is sandwich, chips and soft drinks which I hated but we need to stick to the menu -///- have the sandwich and then pour the rest of the chips into the container and my soft drink into my bottle before we went for the final ride. Did the advance one and crashed at the same slope again!

Went back to meet the rest and we headed down before we head home. Ray was the first to get home! And I got free apples left over from the breakfast haha! Went back to the apartment, cooked the fries and have it for dinner as well as the leftover soft drink before I went to the bathroom to wash 3 pairs of underwears, 3 clothes, jeans, shorts, socks, swim wear and my towel. The swim wear was all in yellow guess it was the suplur. Then after bathing went to hang them and turn on the heater through out the night to dry them. Work on the pictures and left some for the morning haha.

Well labor day today haha but this was not celebrated here! Woke up and changed and then proceed for breakfast. Tried different combination of bread, jams, cereals and have an apple! Was like fulled after that! Between saw a double rainbow!

Then the first trip of the day was to explore Te Puia, the cultural heritage of the Maori. It was their traditional performance and then followed by a guided tour to their geysers. The view was that amazing and we get to see boiling mud haha and kiwis in their dark room. After the tour, we went to have the hangi lunch which is food cooked in the geysers. The lunch was like portion of chicken, potato, sweet potato, pumpkin and one more thing. Alan treated us with a large chocolate cake each and was like so full after lunch. Walked to explore other places not covered by the guide before we moved back to the vehicle and headed for Agroventures!

At the Agroventures, there was like a farm land there where we saw different cows with horns and sheeps. Didn’t take picture of them as I was in the car. Well put my bag in the car as I would be playing games so I took my point to shoot with me! We could choose 2 out of like 4 games which the height ones were out of my list!

Went first on the aqua jet where I sat in the boat with Sandra and the person just drive the boat at super high speed! Its awesome! Then everyone was like treating that so waited for them before we proceeded. Took pictures for Ya Hui hope it turn out good ba.

Next game was free fall which is you experiencing flying. Didn’t go for it as I was saving for swept. Sandra, Sunny and Sam were going for it and you could see them flying and the instructor doing stuns on them. The game is not fit for those with heart, back and shoulder injury.

The third segment was Swept where I got to play against yahui and her boyfriend (Singapore vs Malaysia) well yahui want to team with me but I sort of like feeling the challenge to take them on haha! Although I didn’t win but it was the best cycling experience I did, I never cycle till my leg turn sour and soft like that before haha!

Four segment was the swoop where a team of 3 would be brought to the highest point in a crane and then drop free fall before they were swing to a high point, like a swing on extreme! Didn’t go for that cos my fear of heights haha!

Last segment was the bumgey jump, this segment was not included where you have to trade 2 of the games and top up $20 for it. Didn’t go for it haha! It was freezing cold!

Then it was home time and I was hell! My bag was in Ray’s van and they left! Rode on Phillippa van and to the hostel where I followed her to park and sav and then back to the hostel to wait for my bag! Ray finally came and I got my bag! Then talked with Ya hui and Yim before we went to put on swim suit on in our clothes before we go to pig and whistle (a bar for dinner)

We got to order anything below $25. I was not feeling hungry so I order a light meal mussels and dessert. The meals came and were like so huge 0o! Even my light meal mussels, the mussels were like huge! Did a best solution! Pass the mussel around the table to give others to try as well as the other table! Yahui let me try on her pork ribs. Hers was so huge! There was like 10 or more pork ribs in one plate! Then sam was about to let me try on her beef where I declined as I didn’t wat beef. Naomi let me try on her salmon.

Dessert come and, a few bites before I pass around the table haha! Its good to share! Walked back to the hostel and me, yahui and yim were the only 3 that didn’t go to the spa with the rest. We went to the themo pool to swim and I swim around back and forth for 34 times haha before we went up have a shower and then chatted! The rest came and said we missed out on the awesome spa! Ray came and say he want the 3 of us in the morning as they were going there again. The rest went to lava bar with the 3 of us in our room and we went to sleep haha!

Woke up late and tired from the running of the stalls yesterday. Submitted my brand assignment and then walked to new lynn to get toilet paper at $2 for 10 rolls. Then walked home to have early dinner before meeting Sandra to go to 310 car park to meet phillippa who will take us to the weekend trip at Rotorua!

There are 2 vans and me, sunny and Sandra sat on the white van. On the way there, the crew stopped for dinner at Mac Donalds. Its wasn’t on the plan but didn’t get some as I have dinner already. Continue our journey. On mid way, the tire bursted and our van has to stop and change the tire. Good thing there is a Malaysian guy Yim who is studying car mechanic and he changed the tire with the help of the other guys. Between, made 2 new friends on the trip. Ya Hui and Yim! Ya Hui was the girl that I added on Facebook long ago! And I finally just have the courage to start a sudden conversion with her haha!

Well, back on the road and we arrived at Rotorua at 10 plus close to 11pm. We got to share our rooms in 8,8 and 6. I got room 11 which I share with sunny, ya hui, yim, sam and phillippa. Ours is the quiet room. After that its to the lava bar for us. Walked around with Sunny, Sandra, Sam, Ya hui and Yim but Ya Hui and Yim disappeared and the rest of us walked back to the lava bar where the others are ordering drinks and dancing there. Didn’t order any drinks as I was with an empty stomach but try dancing from 11 plus to close to 2am. Really like a chicken in dancing, the others were smooth and I was like trying so hard to get to the music beat.

Get sunny to open the door for me and found the two of them were sleeping haha! Went to like change before I went to bed to sleep! Oh and sms Jolene to wish her happy birthday!

Woke up in the morning and like read through google and then proceed to return my books and print my training and development report then went to take the shutter bus to the another campus and walk around the shopping mall there and then went back for lesson.

Walked home with Margaux and found that Tong was moving away today as his contact is up and he just signed a contact with a house near the Sunday market. The officials didn’t let him stay for another night. His new home was empty lol and speaking of which, the officials are coming on the 28 april for other round of checks -…-

The winds strong today, sometimes I hate my self for being so soft on myself. I had curry vege for lunch today great and the whole pack -…- then I went to the city to shop for swim wear to soak myself in the water during the holiday lol

The things there were that expensive one full swim suit is 100 plus. One set binkin and underwear is 100 plus too. So I went to dig out clearance again. Arrived at 2 plus and went home at 5 lol. Then at home tidy business process management and turn it in before 9 59pm. Was chewing onto biscuits and apple when I was editing the project guess stress factor kicks in lol. Called mum and chated with her cos I have no time to pick her calls this week after Tuesday and found that my dog is having a bad temper…

Busy busy day, woke up and like went to meet sunny to borrow her chill bill then went back to the apartment to put it and took her to park and sav where I bought milk, black tea and sugar for tml big day! Then also took her to lim’s market and there I bought another pack of pearls and brown sugar. Went home and rest before going to the lab to wait for Phillippa to contact me to collect the cups and the chill bill. She did at close to 5 and she cant find lids so in the end, I borrow another chilli bill to store the water and carried 2 chilli bills to my room before I went to class late but the lecturer was not there. Lucky me! I decided to submit my assignment still despite being given another week due to the confusion.

After lecture, went home to cook the pearls and the tea. Cooked them till 1 plus to 2 and I find out that I only need one box of tea, one pack of sugar and brown sugar. So I got a pack of sugar, brown sugar and tea left. I was worried at first as the milk doesn’t seem to be thick enough. Went to bed at 2. Tml I will wake up to get ice and the milk for my tea!

Wake up like 6am to see the tea. Lucky! The milk acted up and the thickness was alright! Added more sugar to it and then went to cook breakfast before I went to buy 2 pack of ices at $7 and then a 2 litre milk at 3.20. Went home hit the ice to small pieces and put some into the container but the tea still warm. Hung tried and say its ok lol.

Walked to the hub to ask phillippa to help me transport the tea and she drove me back to the apartment where we load the stuff and back to the hub.

There I begin to set up my stall. It was quiet at first and my confidence was losing. My training and development lecturer passed by and give me a word ‘patience’. So I waited and got my first customers. Most of the people have no idea what is bubble tea, the bubble inside and some did not try because of the black pearls. So most of the time, I have to explain what it was to them.

Sales were not fast but steady, once there is a customer more would come but if no one then you have to smile and wait for the next to come. Got several nods for my milk tea which make my confidence level higher.

I spend the whole time from 10 to 1 plus at my stall. For the stall, I spilled the tea like 2 times -… and drank a small one to see how the taste is. The half way, I cut my hand and was like omg! Blood not stopping from the small cut. Get phillippa to supply me with another glove and a plaster to stop the bleeding as well as borrow tissues from the store next to my a figi food stall haha!

The pearls were going fast and tea was left more. I save some for magraux. Slashed the prices. The small without pearl is at 50 cents and the large without pearls is at a dollar. Meaning cutted 50 cents each from the sales price that was with pearls. My training and development lecturer came and bought a large from me haha.

Treated sunny, sin and her friend to milk tea, the stall beside me, the Mexicans and drank like 5 cups myself plus the small one. Went to toilet and ask sunny, sin and her friend to watch for me haha. Soon the leftover tea has the remaining tea bags at the bottom and the tea particulars which I emptied them and throw away haha!

It turn out pleasant as in that I emptied the container and did not have to take it home haha! Also got a few treats from the stall next to mine and sin bought a food for us to try lol.

Washed the chill bill in the toilet and return it to sunny and took the pot, tongs and the spooler back home to wash and rest before photography.

Well my training and development lecturer was right ‘patience’ was the key. No matter how the sales was going, I was standing there and smiling away to the audience, hoping that one of them would come forward to try.

Woke up early and have breakfast! Today is the horse riding day! Edited training and development and met Sandra to go to the carpark together. Nicky, the girl who was suppose to live in room c was there and I did felt abit awark sitting next to her on the van. Did a few conv but then slience just take place for the whole trip -//- (sorry I am a icy person)

We went to the country side and there were lots of horses, cows, sheeps fewer.

Then when we arrive at the place, we were told to sign a document and get a helmet before we can get our horse.

Not white, not brown but a black horse. I was uneasy when I sat on it. Later I learn that her name was surprise! We rode through the hills. The first part was ok as it was those board roads only on occasion where surprise would walk too near to the edge of the hill giving me scares!

The second part were to walk along the hills, up and down the narrow hill paths! And I was like omg! We going down or too near the edge. And I was like hanging on to her ! the second half, I dare not take out my camera to take pictures. At some point of time, I think that she could hear what I felt. I was like omg please dun walk at the edge, at times she walked at the board way instead of following others in a straight line. Did felt bad at times for not trusting her. I was thinking like I know you call surprise, please dun give me surprise now. Hint: horse riding, trust your horse!

I thought she was rough but she did turn out great in the end. A loner at times she is lol!

Well before she went into the farm, did a shot with her and she was like shaking her head lol haha!

Then went to a café to have pizzas! This is the 2 and 3^rd pizza that I have in Auckland lol! We have like ginger cake which is good as I was hungry.

Went to the beach, it was covered in black sand and cos it was 4pm, the sun was setting so the sea was where the sun is and its hard to take pictures.

Went home and was struck in the toilet for an hour to clean my shoes, jackets, jeans and t-shirt. Wore the old one to the trip haha!

When its Sunday! Its time for the market at ash street. Its open today despite it being a public holiday! Went there to get apples, green latern and have a samsoa lamb snack at $3. It’s a great place for finger food haha!

Then walked to Lim’s market to buy lamb and salmon and then to mt albert shops to sell my toy camera.

Then went home and segment the lamb into parts. First use a spoon to take a piece out then roll it into a meat ball and lay it out. Then went the tray is full, divide the portion to bags. In this case, I used scissors to cut out parts of the plastic bag to store the segments of meat balls. The usual is 5 meatballs to a plastic bag towards the end, there were like 3 6 meatballs in a bag. The lamb mince was on offer and caused like 6 dollars.

After segmenting the meat, I got 13 portions which could last me a month or more then carefully put them into the freezer, dun want them to spilt out lol.

Have a chat with cousin and she told me that mum put ban ban photos on the facebook. He seems whiter but that mischievous nature is still present lol.

Dinner was raw salmon and green latern in the microwave. The salmon will lose a lot of fats in this process haha! But still I prefer them raw!

Then its watching twilight for me and off to bed at 9 plus to 10.

Well it’s the start of school today and I was in my room researching on training and development before I went to cook dinner and to pay the fees for the holiday tours that usu organized. Got my training and development assignment paper back and it was 79.

Wanted to go to st lukes for a movie after brand management but decided not to since I got work to refine on my assignments. Added the employee aspect in Google and did some research for training and development. Photography been postponed to Thursday nights for 5 weeks. And I added electricity for the whole apartment. I am the fourth one in the apartment and I’m worried if the electric goes out before end of june lol.

Wil 2 results is out and kind of disappointed but when I weight out the effort, I guess may be I did not put it dept cos that was like the first few weeks of me settling down here and I was like so homesick to focus on things lol. Cooked chicken frames in pasta source to act as a soup and some gui diao, drank the soup and felt warm cos it such a cold weather outside 15 degrees lol

Have my breakfast was oats cokked in milk and brown sugar on the top before I take my walk to the sunday market. I must say luck plays an important element there. The last week trip, I was lucky to be able to find 2 dresses but then this week trip none of the clothes caught my likely till the end. Here t-shirts for the ladies are for the teens. Was looking at a snoopy t-shirt for $5 but the size was large and asked the lady if they have a smaller one but she says that this are children size and i looked at the size, its not. In Asia, you can wear it even if you are adult lol.

Then didnt buy it and went to sample some of the street food such as the lamb kerbab and banana pancake. Walked around more to see if there is dvd stores but they do not have show and rainie's series lol. Then before closing, saw a t-shirt and went to buy it at $10. Here $5 is a very good bargin and $10 is normal bargin level.

There are clothes of a dollar or two but if you look at it, it is those wore clothes. Then walked back home and like surf the web and cooked dinner. The connection was slow so I only find 2 sources for my hr yesterday and then da jie called two times but i was out cooking dinner so didnt pick up her call lol.

I realised that i still have 10 weeks of weekends here haha!

Decided to skip town today and explore the other side of Auckland on the green line thats henderson. You cant go there on sundays with public transport by the railway cos they stop their services at new lynn lol.

Was surpised that it was so huge there! everything was accessable! there was a unitec campus there and the pak and sav was just next to it lol. wonder if they is a dorms there too haha! and there was this huge mall huger than st lukes and the one at town or new lynn. It remind me of jurong shopping center when i went in lol.

Well walk around and then went home. Things got bored when you are on a tight budget and the clothes, their clearance is not like the one in sunday market lol! Its hard to find printed tees here cos all is blank and mostly is to put on more than one layer which is not praticial for me since after this weekend, i still got 10 weekends before its 30 june lol. Time flies...i came here in February and its the start of the new year and when i go back, i going to approach the end of 2010 lol.

Which brings me, yesterday I did nothing as the internet connection was slow, left one question for business process management and 2 for training and development lol. Have to start training and development men!

Well today is the due date of wil 2 assignment 2 and after today I would be having a subject off my shoulders. Emailed the coordinator after reading my report again to send them the report so that they could print out and submit for me lol.

Then did a question of business process management and I left with another question before I could do conclusion and edit the report. As for training and development i still got 2 more questions to go lol.

Then went to greenbay to buy sweet plums and then to countdown to get milk and then back to the dorms as it was too windy to go out.

Well did a read up on marketing chapter 10 about measuring the value of the brand as well as the methods to see the brands association with the consumers in terms of brand and marketing and other approaches.

Then did my once a week walk to new lynn and just hang out there for boredom. Here the shopping malls arent that exciting. Then after widow shopping walk home and try to order a fish from one of the takeaways. Its was 2.80 and I thought they were giving it to me raw but they fried the fillet and I took it home as an add on for dinner.

Here everything has to do with fried...maybe cos its cheaper method to prepare lol.

Its been 2 months since I got here hah! One of the greatest achievements for today is that I managed to complete my Google Report and that I try to cook milk tea again, this time is for the whole apartment to try. Seeing that they like it, boost my confidence of considering to set up a stall selling bubble tea haha. I dunno if its some kind of dream, in the past I used to dream or imagine myself working in a bubble tea shop making bubble tea while schooling haha! Well I finally had a chance to make one of the most original that’s pearl milk tea. With the chance of not able to find artificial favouring, my estimated price would be from 1.50 to 2.00 cos I only selling one type of tea. I hope I got the courage to go through this as if I went through it, I grew if not I be the same haha! I know that should I grow through it, I be learning something in life haha.

The winds been strong today and seeing all my friends drinking milk tea, I suddenly have the urge to drink it too. Anyways went to st lukes to walk and hang around, between I edited google today and then bought a white cardingen at $19 which is not like the normal kind of cardigan.

Then took the 007 to mt albert where I proceed to Lim’s market and bought my first fish in Auckland! One is the ya dai yu which cost 1.99 per kg (Auckland fish market selling the whole fish at $5) then I went through the salmon frames (it means bones just a nicer word) and took those that still has posbbile meat in it and the lady waiting for her fish to be clean was looking at me thinking why should I ransack the whole place for that few areas of meat. In other places, the salmon frames were labeled as pet food for the cats. Here I guess the larger ones could be used to boil soup.

In the end, bought the fishes at a dollar plus. And then went to the supermarket to buy pearls, red sugar, earl grey and chilli and onions for dinner.

Went home and boiled water to cook the pearls! Then segment the fish to keep in fridge, salmon I ate all for dinner. For those small sashimi like pieces, I soak it with a bit of tiger and ate raw, those fin areas, I fry them which I notice that salmon has a lot of fats! Cooked the salmon and the fish using stir fish and boil brocoili and onions and then pour pasta sauce over them then put everything in the microwave for 2 mins. Finally I cook fish without spoiling the fish!

As for milk tea, the pearls are the small pearls. I make the tea and add sugar to the tea but cos I use red sugar, it taste a bit funny. Then after I got my sweetness level, I recycle the bag of tea for second usage and then pour milk and stir slowly to get the milk tea colour. Finally pour in the pearls. As today is a chill day, there is no need for ice lol!

The funny thing is that I finding it a counterfeit for the famous milk tea. I not namely them for them to sue me lol.

12 April 2010, one more day before it marked 2 months of me being in Auckland. Times flies! I must admit, after seeing the clothes on sale in the sunday market and their prices, you wouldnt be interested to shop for clothes in the department stores again.

Took my first dare to dare adventure! I bought a 3 stages ticket and travel to Slyvia Mall, the Biggest mall in Auckland. Note its smaller than Vivo city in Singapore...as in the number of stores and size. Hence I be able to see the other side of the Auckland Line! As the train left the central station, it have to travel across the sea or lakes! Which is so nice!

Well Slyvia mall should be exciting but then cos I went to the sunday market the day before, their clothes sales does not excite me at all and all the sales were limited cos it was in the city.

Note: If you want to shop for bargins, go out of the city!

Try on a few shirts and that Elmo shirt was 20 bucks! thats alot! Went back on the 4 plus train to 5 and then since the next train to mount albert comes at 5.40pm, i decided to take the bus which is 3 stages and drop at my doorsteps instead as daylight savings ended, 6 plus is getting dark which is not very safe to go through the creek back at the apartment especially during the term break where hardly anyone pass there at times.

Did a couple of assignments today, did Google on Facebook and I went back to view my old friendster account well not that old, I abandon it like in 2008 lol for Facebook :X and the layout is completely like facebook expect they did not allow you to save your pictures like what facebook did! Found the pictures of myself that I uploaded shortly after my attachment where I rebond my hand for the first time. I had no idea that at that point of time I had an element of cute in myself when I looked back at myself and I look that young lol! Times flies that much arent it.

Then I also edited Wil and change all the essay under the answers to interview to point form cos they state to put it into point form which I got so carried away lol haha!

Well its my daily routine to the Sunday market! Wake up ate the dinner from last night and then went to the Sunday market and galz stop pestering me to buy a dress cos I bought a pink one for $5 and another one for $20 in the pasar malam lol :D Then got a arm accessory for $6 to go along with the black dress and when I got home then I try to see if it fits lol! Oh ya I went there to do some shooting as well. Bought kiwis for a dollar. Was searching for the dvds but cant find them then so went home.

When trying at home, I realized that the dress need belts, cant blame me I never worn a dress before lol! And to buy them is to shut my friends up haha! Of cos the other factor is the pricing, cos you cant find that cheap in the local stores haha!

Then been like surfing the web and smsing with my friend and then went to cook dinner. Bocrolli diced into pieces with garlic and eggs and the finishing touch pasta sauce and in the mrico wave it goes for 2 mins after that take out and put chilli sauce by the side.

Then make sesame soup to drink and then continue to surf the net and munch on the nuts! Have to stop! Its like 6 packets and I ate like 5 of them lol!

In the end, I finished the nuts and I realized that T&D I have to redo the question 1 I did as it was needs assessment and not need levels lol!

Had been a busy day today, first off is rushing to New Market to sell off my e71 at $280. Wondering why I am selling off that high technology phone of mine with the wifi that everyone wished to have in their phones? One to get funds for the ease of surviving this month lol, after I sold it off at $280, I got a lower end nokia 2690 from parallel imported at $156 which gives me about a 100 to ease on.

The Nokia 2690 model is a 2g phone with basic functions like Bluetooth and the ability to set mp3 as a ringtone or message mode. Before I decided to sold off my trustly e71 for funds, I debated whether I should do it. I broke down the reality and analysis it. I dun really need a 3g phone back in my country and I dun really find the wifi useful either. You need to have login password at most of the areas to log in and with that Wifi is considered crap.

Some of the model that I consider after selling off my phone is the hello kitty edition Samsung flip phone but then did not decide on it as although I love the exterior white color, there was no Bluetooth and mp3 function that was my basic requirement in a phone. Went to sony ericssion but the model was like my w580i its w 230 (btw w580i is selling at 228 here), v3 (I dun like the design even if its 159) then I have a feel with the nokia phones (here lg is expensive and nokia is considered cheaper), had a feel of the slide phones but they dun have an external memory and they cost about the same as the one I choose. Also all phones need to have a slot for me to hang my keychains lol haha

Got the nokia 2690 hot pink as I wanted to choose something different from my usual self and it was the last one haha!

The other factor is that I dun want to be a spoil brat, ring home to get money. I mean with the financial of my family, if not for the help of JM I not be in Auckland (third: I want to return her money ASAP!). Being here is a privilege in my life already and I felt that ringing home and demand for more money is such a cry baby. Its just transferring your problems to other people. I came here with a promise to JM to grow up and if I took that step, I won’t grow up and much as wise up. Should I ring home, my parents would be screwing through their brains how to get more funds for me to survive and that is not independence. So what if they managed to send me extra funds for this month? How about next month or in future? This doesn’t slove any problem at all. True they credit to me $400 per month but $101 is for the bank loan that I took to pay for my last sem school fees and I still have to pay for my phone bills which plus gst is like $33 per month without usage lol!

SO IF ANY OF MY FAMILY IS READING THIS POST! DO NOT SEND ME EXTRA FUNDS AND LET ME SETTLE IT MYSELF.

After that went to walk around new market and then took a bus to st lukes to search for the clothes at jay jay that ame want me to buy for her. Managed to get the Minnie but the doggie that she wanted was too large for her so walked around st lukes before I head home and cooked mi fen for dinner.

Played on facebook and edited wil as well as create the content page for it. Also configured my new phone with the Bluetooth from my lappy to put in some songs (5 only cos memory is small), message tone and some pictures haha that is after it had fully charged for 4 hours.

Didn’t go to margaux house to watch tv as I have sore throat and too tired to stay awake with the time slowing back 10pm is like 11 pm to me before daylight savings ended. On that heater that night cos my hands are getting bloodly cold lol haha!

Well as usual after sending my lecture and waiting for their feedback, i went to return books to the and slack in the library. Then I took a bus to explore! This time is to valley road, it’s a long stretch of shops like mt albert but the Chinese shops are hips of it! Went to foodtown to buy a bun for 50 cents and then to explore the areas, went up and down and took a few pictures and one was at the pet shop! Saw cute shih tzu there! Much better than that ban at home but he’s cute in his way lol! Was so temper to buy bubble tea but then did not as it was at least 4 bucks that’s a nono! Then after exploring, I got to go home as my slippers were causing bistlers and my shoes were not dry, one of them even jump down from my window and I ended up having to climb to the edge of the hill to get it back lol!

Went home cooked mifen and chicken and then ate 2 bananas for dinner lol. Then saw that my lens and bag had been bought. The lens buyer drove all the way from north shore to my apartment just to buy the lens! Thanks to the lens, I have funds to go on the rotunda trip at the end of april, its an active volcano lol! The bag guy, I would have to wait for 2 weeks before he comes to Auckland to pick up cos I dun want to trouble others to lend me their new Zealand account. Well that’s me, I dun want to trouble others lol!

Its Easter and its raining! Well the usual, walk to the Sunday market to get fruits for the week then hang out there and went home to work on Google!

I must say one thing that makes people get fatter is when working on your assignments and after that you be eating. For me I typed google and went to cook at 1 plus and have food at 2 plus -______- then work on google and went out to walk. Shops are closed as it was a public holiday and then went back home to drink sesame paste and gao luck! Haha!

Well happy Easter Monday to all! Cooked egg with arlic as my garlic is been there for too long.

I walked to st lukes today and found a place selling plant by accident. Went to St lukes to walk around and bought 2 t-shirts and a rum and rasin chocolates that were clearing at 1.50 per packet! Cool! Then hop on the bus home. Since day light savings ended, 4 is considered close to evening and like 7 is pitch black!

Went home cooked mifen and work on google and send my lecturer the draft of google and business process management. I been typing like a machne for google. Typing report does make you eat lol!

Its good Friday today unlike the public holidays in Singapore where every where is crowded it’s the opposite in Auckland where all the shops are closed! Even the supermarkets and there is no transport operating expect a few buses and some asian stores open and the mini marts. Hence today has been bored for me lol.

Went to New Market today to shop around since it has been a month or so since I went there and tried on a few clothes and then why take a bus back to mt albert. The railway are being maintained hence there is a bus to stop at all stations.

Went to Lim’s market to get instant sesame paste and then to park and sav to get milk, strawberry milk and oil. Then walked back home to have dinner and crack on Google report!

Google is such a hard to crack topic man!

Happy April fool to all! Well tml will be the start of the 2 weeks term holidays and I have no plans to travel around as I be saving money for the horse riding trip at the end of the term break. Start off today with mi fen as breakfast and a egg and milk then went to room and sit all day to type my assignment for business process management and went out at 3 plus to count down to get the wheatbread for 1.40 for 20 pieces and I have to finish it in 5 days then went to search for oil but its like out of my budget so I decided to boil for the time being. Here in Auckland sometimes you have to be creative at things that’s what I learn in cooking. Chilli too salty no problem add water to turn into chilli soup with the kang gong. Chicken too expensive? Buy lamb or chicken frames. Being a Chinese, its easier to mix and match. Fish too expensive? Wait till they are closing or buy salmon frames or another kind of fish big big for $5 only. So far I haven bought any. Or best eat pizza!

Then went back home and eat mifen with egg again and milk, chat with mum and then top up the power with the 50 dollar card and bathe and back in my room to work on my assignments

I admit I am anti social but I just have to rush my assignments so that I wont be over stress by the 4 of them duing soon.

Well the days are getting colder hence after class at 12.30, I made my way to new lynn. Didn’t have the patience to wait for the bus so ended up walking 10 bus stops to the shopping mall. On the way, I walk and shop around the local Chinese clothes stores to see if they got any jackets at affordable prices. Saw one at $35 white and with the fur at the back but did not buy as it was the last piece and the owner only give me a 5 dollar discount since the sleeves got dirty but washable. Went to lynn mall and shop around, the jackets weren’t exactly warm and those warm ones cost huge! So I got my hoodie a bit thicker than my thickest jacket from lp zone and a t-shirt at jay jay again. Sorry folks but the clothes here are rather dull in their design and jay jay is like the Singapore version of like say those money tshirt shops in bugis shopping center.

Well the t-shirt is hello kitty. Before you throw at me, here the design of kitty is really nicer than snoopy so at 10 dollars why not? I waited for this t-shirt, the last time I saw it was at $35 and now at $10 (its purple by the way)
Oh and I gained another 2 kgs haha!

Well edited wil 2 and research on operations management then as my eyes felt a bit blurly, went to school area to return the camera and to the lab to print the paper and I got told off for printing double side as it was not allow. What annoy me was everything I want to talk the person just bug in! then why do you have the function of double side printing in the first place and why do you not put a sign at the lab that is either large enough for people to seE? I feeling that I’m becoming a bitch at times now a days.

After the annoying incident, went to the library to borrow 9 books and home to surf and cook dinner and to class!

Its mass cleaning for us in our apartment! We clean the bathroom, kitchen and the toilet cos the officer are coming tml! Not forgetting the windows

Then went to mt albert to get a cheese bun for 50 cents and took the train to the city. Went up and down to spend time and then to the warehouse to get the pail and the sponge to replace the mop. Then as usual went to hang out in the ware house and this time together with the pail and the sponge, I bought a bag of candy and skinny jeans at $19 from the usual price of $35 ( dun be mistaken, the size here is big hor) Their I-touch was selling at $348 and with 30% off apple items it was about $250 lol but didn’t buy cos no use for it la! Went to check out my items and for the first time in my life, I was carry the pail like those handbag and walking down the streets to do shopping!

Went back to mt albert and got bread and chest nuts! Then went home to cook. Sometimes I think I prepare too much dinner -….-

Well it finally come true! My trip to Auckland Zoo for free due to the pass that I got from the sky tower which I need to use it by end of March haha!

One thing about the Auckland Zoo is that the enclosure for its animals were huge! but the animals were few. Like in the pride lands, there was like 3 zebras, 2 ostrich and 1 graffie and the baby graffie was enclosure in one area which it could not join the others.

Then there is the lions 2 males and 3 females and they were sleeping. One thing I found on my coverage is that the 300mm is actually not enough here. They had red pandas which is not found in Singapore and Kiwis! but the kiwis were in a dark area that it was so hard to take a picture of them!

Other than that, Singapore got more animals than Auckland zoo, probably becos we did try to set up artifical surroundings for the animals but here, they just want them to adapt to the environment.

Oh and the baby tigers got blankets to sleep on haha! Then we like went home at 2 plus haha it was a short trip not much as there was no sheep, horse or cows there haha

Well went to borrow camera in the morning and the technician was out so have to wait till 12. Anyways went to eat main meal small @$4 and it was real small haha! Then went back and saw a class mate of mine in photography she was from china and been here for 7 years. Her name is Jie and we were like borrowing cameras flim ones cos I have to redo again and she was like only able to borrow a pentax one and return it tml and me I was served by the same guy who loan me the canon camera and I got back the same camera eos 500 and return on Monday and she was like 0o! and I was like omg so embarrassing! Cos I can have it over the weekend with the canon camera and she cant with hers.

Anyway she drove me to Apix to buy the film. I was like been a white carrot! The film that I need to buy was only 6.80 and I pay $18 for one that I need not! She was asking me which brand of camera to buy cos the lecturer told her to buy either canon or Nikon so I suggested that since she is advancing to photography 2 next semester to buy Nikon as this place here is occupied by Nikon! You see fewer Nikon second hand than canon -…- and the school only loan out Nikon lens cos they dun have canon lens.

Anyways I was suggesting if budget was not a problem get d5000 cos of the tit LCD for better perspectives convenience and the store only has d3000. After debating and asking her to have hands on herself, I think she should get d3000 if d5000 she might relied on the view finder too much and the video is not a need for her. She got d3000 at 1050 with a camera bag (not those Nikon ones), uv fliter, memory card. Ready to get started and she drop me off later at mt albert to return my dvds. She is driving an audi car lol

Went to return my dvds and got xia yi zhang xin fu cos heard before a lot of commotion about it and after I borrowed it rained heavily. Luckily I was wearing the purple jacket and did not get wet cos its waterproof!

Then went home and like work on visual diary and watch awesome hubby to the end and shit! I almost spoil today mifen again! Then its like white white so I ate it with chilli! Haven start on tying my wil 2! And the others!omg!

Well woke up and cooked breakfast and then like read on composition and then cooked curry chicken while the rest weren’t home haha! Boiled the potatos and then cooked the curry chicken for my flat mates. It was my second time attempting it! The first time was a total disaster in Singapore!

Then the accommodation officer came, they are coming back on Sunday to see if everything is clean again!

Well went to st lukes to get 100 photos printed for $29, mostly to add to my visual diary and then walk around. Went to K mart and bought tissue, chocolate and sweet. Went into Jay Jay for the first time. In case you not know what is Jay Jay, its like 77 street that kind where they sell t-shirts and jackets at $25 to $50 range. Bought a t-shirt at $10 cos they are clearing and a hoodie at $44.50 haha not telling you what it is!

Then went to class and after class back home to work on my visual diary!

Class starts at 930 in the morning so I was there in class listening to the guest lecturer speaking and then rushing back to the dorms after class as the accommodation officer was coming to check today! Waited till 3 plus and went to cook dinner. This time I accidentally cooked the vegetable version of the black minced meat in a less salty way haha with purple cabbage!

Then went to class but before that went to shop around at pt chevalier and bought ingredients for curry chicken! Hope it works ok! And then went to photography class where we are introduced to the various forms of cameras and then to the dark room where we are introduced the equipments and the process and you need to work with no light cos the film cannot touch light or the picture would be spoiled.

Got an assignment from the course which is take a sequence or series and got to borrow books from the library. I choosed mainly composition and learning to see creatively books as I feel that choosing one that introduce you to the dslr would not help me much! I lack photos with souls! That’s the most important thing in the photos. A photo without a life of its own, a story to tell is just a photo not photography!

Was told that the accommodation officer are coming tml 10 am to 1pm instead lol@

Today’s the day to hand in training and development assignment 1 and I was like reading through it, turn it to turn it in and went to return my camera afterwards. So purposely walk to building 1 and then to pt chevalier, from there I decided to explore so walked all the way to the colye bay that’s 2 stages from unitec haha! And then sort of have early dinner there and walk around to collect seashells. Walk back from there had an ice cream on the way and walked to building 180 to print and do last min editing of my assignment and drop it into the digital drop box. The branding lecturer was so fast in his marking and I got a 79 for my first assignment, might not be the highest in class but its like the highest one that I got since rmit studying. Then went to class! So happy as I talked to more people. The classmates from china were speaking to themselves if I was from Malaysia and I sort of answer them back in Chinese that I was from Singapore haha! Since class ended on the dot, I miss Sandra and waited for magrux and her boyfriend to go with them back to the dorms since it was like so dark! There was like this cat and I petted a cat for the first time! Its fur was like a leopard! That’s cool!

Today is the day that I go to the Sunday market at Ash street! So I did the impossible and that is to walk all the way there. However I got lost and end up walking to reach lynn mall which I turn around and walk back to the market. The Market was as crowded as the first time I went there and I saw this person making clay and bought a little cute white horse at $10, the price depends on the artwork of the figurine and then went to buy head set. When I got home, I found that it’s a counterfeit of Mix style , a popular brand that cost almost $100 original.

Walked back to the apartment to do my research but got notice that the apartment manager is coming to inspect at Tuesday so clean my room and Kristina told me that the flat was invaded with worms. So I rushed to throw the rubbish to the garbage to the den and to vaccum the worms from the apartment and hung took over the second half and I clean the rubbish bin and the towel bowl. Then empty the dust on the vaccum, there is a worm still alive inside the rubbish and then rush to throw them in the den haha.

Cousin called and chat with her then mum called and chat with her. By the time I chatted finish its 8 close to 9pm and bath and by the time I cooked it was 9 close to 10pm. Purple cabbage is hard to cook haha

Well today is Rangitoto island tour day! Yes! I rushed through my training and development project to get myself to the trip!

My gear packs for the trip are the slr camera! Yup I doing my assignment in Black and white! So its like bring homework to do in the tour! Holga camera to do double and triple exposure and my ixus to take pictures!

Walked to building 48 to got on the van that would take us there. WE arrived in the city and then catch a ferry to the island! The ferry that we got on was a huge one so we can like stand on top of the ferry to view the islands!

Its was a short ride and next thing we land outside in Rangitoto! Its Auckland’s youngest volcano and is said to erupt every 500 years, the last one was like 700 years ago. Its strict there as you have to check your bags and shoes to see if you are bringing dirt or pets to the island as the island is pest free and they dun want you to contaminate the island and also no rubbish on the island!

We got on this train like vehicle that took us to the close to submit part where we have to climb 374 steps to the submit and the road were of lava that has been dried up and were so dusty that we were dusting ourselves when the train stopped.

Well went with sunisa in the morning to buy the processing paper and film roll for photography class and after that she drop me off at countdown where I bought apples, bread and chicken frames. Went back home and cut all the chicken frames into smaller parts for daily consumption. Its 7 in a bag for $4. I managed to packed 18 parts from it and the bones that I cant pack its chicken soup for me so after drinking the chicken boiled in water and soy sauce with chilli and drinking the soup, I was full. Went to like enroll in turn it in so that I can submit my assignment but the one for training in development just wont let me enroll into it -……- then watched my better half episodes and then try to read operations management but the backward and forward thing I cant get it.

Between I managed to loan a flim slr which I be taking it for my volcano trip today. Night was wrost as I was having diarrhea….

Woke up today to cook breakfast and then work on my assignment good news! I completed the essay of training and development. Then I got to go to the usu reception area to register for the tour on Saturday at $65 and then took a train down to biotromart to go the fish market to tour around and then to buy black and white flim and print out photographs for my assignment. Got rip off for $26 cos if I wait one hour, I can get one print for 29 cents each at one hour. And then buy a hat at $10…so much for our 100 dollars that I taken out today. Then went home to edit my assignments and then watch my better half episode 5.

Well woke up cooked breakfast and its assignments for me all day till like 2 plus where I read the textbook for class and cooked dinner at 4 plus and class at 5 plus. Days are getting darker and chiller now and it be colder when april kicks in. So far for my assignments I did question 1 and like 2 and 3 to go and editing week for brand. Was trying to compete the training and development so that I can go for the tour this Saturday to visit the youngest volcano haha! I think its worth the go so I rushing through the completion of my assignments to make room for that vacation haha!

Mum finally got my package hahaha! It’s the honey that I bought here!

Well today’s the morning class so have to get up early to cook breakfast and to go to class. Class was quick and went to return my dvds and to see if I can rent another one! AND THE BEST PART OF TODAY IS MY BETTER HALF IS FINALLY HERE!!!

I rent it and went to watch! Michael Miu is so funny as the little man there haha! The show totally rocks! Then went to cook dinner at 3 to 4plus and good news! I make dinner! And have it at about 4 plus before I walk to class at 5 plus and then class today taught us about flash and we have to go out to take photos! Next week is in the dark room!!!!!

After class, I got to ride with Claudia to 310 so we dun have to walk and the girl who pick her up was leti! She was in class with me for brand management and like us she took photography but at wed 1 to 4pm well I make the choice of going to Tuesday night class so no blaming!

Wow it’s a pass a month since I arrived in Auckland. Well I did the usual today that is sit at home all the time to research on my assignment so not much walking today L The weather is windy today and the nights are getting quicker. In feb, 8 to 8.30 is like 7pm in Singapore where the sun begins to set. Today at 8pm plus, the sky turn real dark. And my right knee sort of hurt again when I bend a bit from my standing position so I went into the building to wait for Sandra and to get warm. After that walked home and cooked noodles for warm and my knee is feeling much more better than before haha!

Well one month passed is like slow and fast at the same time. Slow because you longer to go home and fast cos hey its one month already. Some things that I did learn here was to experience my life in another dimension. Something that I would not be able to know in Singapore. It’s the way of living as a minority and where you are on your own. You think of alternatives to make the best out of every situation. If the clothes is too expensive to wash, wash it manually. If the cost of food is too expensive and large, get a lunch box or cook. If the expenses of living is too great, note down the places to buy things that are of value. Like countdown, their daily items like shampoo etc is cheaper than park and sav and all. Lim’s market: the asian food are there but the fruits are not that fresh. Fruit’s world’s fish market the place to get cheap fish parts like the bones and the fish head and as well the chicken frames. New lynn’s supermarket which is a stage from my droms is the place to get your toilet paper cos its 10 for 2.50. Dress smart and new market, the place to get clearance clothes. Green bay, the place to buy box noodles and fresh fruit. Park and sav: milk, food on offer and cooked meat and most importantly lamb. St lukes general shopping and k-mart for clearance of clothes as well as warehouse stationary. But if you are looking for electronic goods then go to hills and stewards to get their clearance.

Food expensive?

Get made in new Zealand products and let your creativity kick in. Combine them and cook, go to the Sunday market to get vegetables or simply cook instant noodles or pasta and put sauce on it. Drink too expensive, drink milk or tap water.

Well today is assignment day so got out of bed to do projects, did the theories for training and development and conclusion for brand and then read chapter 7 of brand and go out to buy milk!
Walk to mount albert and see the price of the honey +15 at 250g is $18 and at 500g is at $28. Then went to park and sav got walnuts, fruits, milk, pasta sauce, bread and jam and went home to cook dinner. Have a chat with cousin while on the way home lol

Well went to st lukes again to get the gym pants to wear for sleeping as I think the wind chilling so it hurt my right knee cap. Was about to board off from the bus when I miss a step and no worries I fell downwards and then after that went to buy milk shake, for 3.80 the milk shake cup is the large size one. If 3.80 to sg its usually small so after that went back home and research! And have a few biscult here and there at 4 plus. Was intending to skip dinner but my gastric start to warm up and like in the morning if you dun eat, they warm out and you feel giddy later so ya went to cook pasta and may lend me to try on the tomato sauce it so nice! I gonna buy that later!

Anyways everyone in the building like half is out for the sea trip so connection is fast for this 3 days till Sunday night -.- today is also the local festival but didn’t go cos of assignments

Well cooked breakfast again and like get ready to go to st lukes to get that jacket! Went to take the bus to the st lukes! The driver was the one that I took home from st lukes the other day. Hence got off at st lukes and went straight to K-mart to get the jacket and haha it will be a point in my report!

Then took the bus bck home, it was the same driver! Got off at Carrington road and walk to count down at pt chaveier to get shampoo, body wash and bath scrub. Got also dish washer, brush and toilet washer for the apartment and a comb.

Then went back to the dorm, to research on my assignment but my laptop was so lag that I cant open files in pdf form, if I open the whole computer start to hang and for 2 days in a row, I cant get my assignments done and they are due in week time! So went to read on chapter of training and development and then watch beauty resolutions since the laptop wont let me research -…-!
Before I went home from count down, I went to lend a camera and a tripod from the school,they lend me Nikon d100! It was so huge and heavy!

Oh and at 7 plus, I went to the major road to ake pictures of the lights with a tripod and it was so cold that when I knee down to look at the camera, my knee cap give a sharp pain!
Here the temperature is 18 degrees now and the wind is so strong that you can hear them howl outside! The first time when I heard it, I thought it was a wolf howling!

Well the first thing to be known in the morning is there is a bloody fire drill at 6 am in the morning! Rush out there after seeing all of my flatmates has left their rooms as the person in room A is accountable for all then was freezing cold out there. After the drill went back to sleep but cant sleep so wake up and make breakfast and then do operations management questions and went to st lukes to post something out. Then walk around and saw this purple gym jacket really like the colour but at $35 so stop myself from buying it -..- then went to walk around the warehouses outside of st lukes and back into st lukes to see the purple jacket but in the end I bought a grey vest at $15 and then went back to class. The lecturer was away so there was a replacement lecturer and ya after class went back to dorm lol! Connection is slow as ever!

I spoiled my mi fen today and have to cook noodles to eat instead. Went out with may to dress smart early and we were like in luck cos there is more sales! I hit some records here. First thing is levis! I never own one in Singapore cos I find them expensive and ya the store was clearing like $20 cheapest so I went to get one! I probably get more when I going home haha! Next is sunglasses at 10 dollars haha and then I also bought a wallet and omg! I saw the same jacket exactly the same in nike store with the logo change to nike and some design like add dots and a zip -…..- selling at $100! I’m so going back to st lukes to buy that purple one at $35! And it will serve as a point in my report!

Then after that went to the city with may to meet jimmy to go with him to see his interested apartment and then take bus back. It was raining and I was too lazy to go for the festival haha!

Went to bathe and found out then I used hand wash to bath! Meaning I buy handwash! And since my computer is not able to connect to the internet well. I was busy typing the brand report till conclusion to be leave for another day.

Well have a long morning, wait up and join the q for bath then cook breakfast and eat. After that its off to strategic brand management and there was like a fire drill there and we were asked to go to the field just outside the building to gather then well back to class.
Rush off after class to mt albert to catch the train to bitromart to meet da jie tou and walked to her hotel lol and I got on the wrong side so was texting her here and forth! Finally someone from Singapore! Then like meet her crew members and she together with them took me out to eat at the food court, drink milk tea at a Thailand restaurant, shop dfs at dfs shop and to buy honey! Time flies with her around cos it was soon for me to head home for class -……….-
I arrived in class just in time and today’s class were on lighting and using of reflectors, fliters. Then have field sessions with my classmates using the reflectors and tripods, its like so amazed how the reflector will change the lighting! After that its lecture on the fliters to use and lastly its to volunteer to share some of our work with the class. I volunteer! Haha!
Went back home with my class mate and heard this strange noise so we ran to the accommodation office and I texted my flat mates to pick me up. Really nice that tong and han come and fetch me from the building 76. After that bath and we sat down to chat about the fire drill briefing that I missed and others! Its like fun sitting and chatting with them for the first time!
And my laptop is start making slow snoring noises with programs hanging and running slowly -.- they even change the theme and recently just change back to windows 7.

Today was a rush for me, I got up at 8 and was busy flipping here and there when my brand lecturer told me to go to his office to let him look at my assignment at 9am! So rush there with my laptop and got feedback then back home put down the laptop and took the books for the evening class and off I go to town to change $$. The one I got was the highest its 200 sgd to 199 nz. So ya went to victoria market, disappointed as it was so quiet but found a few interesting things there!
Then went to have subway tuna! And then went to lecture at 5.30pm. Class was on law acts and b aba ba. It ended and I went home haha.

Well, woke up and clean the flat and cook noodles. By the time I finish washing the dishes on the kitchen area, my noodles was way overcook. Eat that and continue cleaning the flat and vaccum it! I GOT GOOD NEWS! DA JIE TOU IS FLYING TO AUCKLAND HAHA!

Went to the Sunday market with han, may and tong. Han drives us there and there was like wow so many vegetables and t-shirts for sales! The onions were cheap like one bag for $1 and t-shirts were like $5 clearance. So bought 5 plums for $1.40, 12 bee hoons for $2, wind charm for $5, chilli sauce for $2, own cai for 70 cents and then I got lost in the maze! Well I got out of it, the rest were waiting for me :X

Then went with Han to park and sav to buy milk and then to the Lim’s market to buy bananas and strawberry love letters. Then went back to flat to read on chapter 7 supplement and then went to mt albert to rent high resolutions to watch the show during weekends and then walk to pt chevalier to buy calculator, lotion, sun block and pimple cream and then walk back home to watch ep 1 to 3 and read up on chapter 13 and then proceed to watch chapter 4. Had my ear plugged to the ear piece and hence I think I miss some information that the apartment student in charge was briefing to the rest about something which I not sure.

Well woke up yesterday and type on the brand report then went with margaux,Jamie, rowan, david and rest at 1 plus to mission bay.Its auckland’s beach which is more cleaner than the first beach I went to last time with her. Felt asleep on the beach and got up whole lot tanned! Omg! I put sun block ok! Now the colour is like Louis koo that colour -………..-!
After that went for an ice cream the new Zealand ice cream that can be found in Singapore and david was like having problems to start his car because he went into the sea with his car keys and the remote just wont wont.
Went back cooked dinner and continue with my brand assignment on no branding before I bathe and decided to just go out and join my flat mates for beer! Drank 2 bottle of beer, its kind of awful for me but ya it ease the home sickness when I am in my room haha!
Went to sleep at 10 cos tml is Sunday market! Yuppie!

Well read 2 chapters of brand management (the last one is like scan through).

Got a mantou when I was on my way to the train and its tasteless haha!Went to explore lynn mall today and it was like the typical shopping center here, the shopping centers are usually one or 2 stories and saw this store 2 cheap, there’s like mass items for Halloween inside and like I saw this bear keychain which I think is very special and the hugging of two figures haha.

Anyways went to walk around and tried clothes, this is the way to put your boredom away from you lol. Then I went to see bootes cos I decided that in the event if I want boots its cream or white colour! Picky aren’t I? well cos I like it haha! Best part is after I bought the boots at 40 I can get a sneakers at 10 from its clearance price of $20. Usually I wont lay my eyes on it if its special! The sneakers is with all the pink drawings. Bought them and went to nearby to walk around, there is this food for less so I went in and found that their toilet paper is 10 for 2.50 which is cheaper than the one I buy so I bought it and walk around before I went home.

Went home cook dinner and went for a walk then start typing on brand assignment and email my lecturer for his comments. I only at 4 pages with references and the max is 25 pages omg!

Well today I have a feel of how the online selling of trade me is. I went to meet the buyer for the textbook in town at wendy’s for $85 which I would have to get at the book shop for $112. The trade was smooth and the book was the one that I borrow from the library. Some of you might ask why not borrow from the library and photocopy, here copyright is strict and the library would let you borrow for a month if no ones wants it. If some one wants it, it be in a week -_____________________-
Went to the food court and order a large plate (large plate at $9.50 is equal to the normal plates here) and went to take as much food as I can for one go. The mussels were big and nice but the pork didn’t marinate and the chicken taste funny in the end so didn’t eat all but very food till I have to drink water to make my stomach smooth cos I ate too much then went to walk around to digest and release engery.
As usual went to warehouse to idle time, try on boots, clothes and skirts and saw this demosrate by twin towers trading on their knifes and got one fruit knife worth $5 free for watching them demonstrate. Then after that went to walk up and down of queen street before I took a train home. This time I decided to stop at Avandale which is one stop later than mt albert and walk from the station to explore the surroundings to the dorm.
When in the dorm, I went to research on brand management and read the no logo point of view but I cant seem to find much point of view from no logo which is demoralizing. Mum called and update me about the things at home, ban ban’s been naughty and stubborn that ox! Nino pass away after the last day of the chinese new year well expected that cos she was grewing weaker and weaker out of no reason. Queenie give birth to another 3! She’s the first to have a 4th batch!
After a chat with mum and dad, went to bath, have orange juice and milk and back to my computer. The wifi is slow! and I wait long for the information to load! They dun have a cable here!

Since my book fell onto my laptop, I spend yesterday reinstalling all the programs that does not work, research a bit on branding and read on operations management chapter 7 then I went to walk around mt albert and proceed to explore kingsland. Nothing much there, mostly cafes and then I went to class. After class went to catch the free movie, the night was cold so I put on 3 layers and I went back to check the temperature -….- its only 20.8 degrees! Shit!

Today is not my day at all! First I felt so much pressure from branding and then went home to like read on the chapter 1 of training and development and to research on branding but then bang! The book fell flat on my laptop and some of the applications were not able to run and I have to reinstall them again! The laptop also run slower! Then I edited wil and put it in a final document and then after that went to cook dinner and went to buy sweet plums but it was sold out! Then stomach ache went to the public toilet by the road and to save toilet paper, they make the paper so hard to take out that I get a warning from the toilet to finish using the toilet asap!
After that went to photography, it was total awesome! From the description, I get to learn to use the dark room and studio! As well as flim camera! We learn about the exposure triangle and light! And some stuff of playing with the shutter speed! Next lesson is workshop where I need to bring my camera!
I fought a girl living in 300 which we two walk home together! The campus was not well lit at all and we were the onl two walking then walk to her dorm, I kinda like ask my flat mates to meet me at the bridge to walk home together cos from margaux, a guy got robbed last semester and I ended class like 9!

Well today is the first day of atrium and I had a busy day. Firstly was busy showing Kristina around the campus and to get her documents done. Then when she was having her orientation, I went home to cook breakfast and then surf the net till 12.30 before I went to pick her up and show her the way to get her money at the atm. Then drop her off at 170 to get her results and shortly to 48 to make the card but back to 170 to get documents and to 48 to make her card. And then to 180 to buy the passes before we took 006 to st lukes to get her shoes and some stuff. I bought 2 pillows at 12, pillow sheet at 6 and a air rack at 12 to hang my clothes as I dun want to be seen as bugging the air rack in the apartment all the time, well its still in my room as I slowly trasfering the clothes over. This one is smaller so cant hang too wide.

Anyways drop off the stuff I bought at st lukes and went straight to class. Then during class, I was using my wifi to go on trade me to bid for the textbook. It sold at 40 but then there was another bidder bidding it so I won the bid at 85 well it should have stop at 75 but then I scare the last min the bidder hit the bid button and I have to buy from the book store at $112. Anyways now is one textbook left for me which is managing training and development as the lecturer was the writer of the book needless to say, we need to read the book cos the lecture notes is so brief!

Well in the morning went to park and sav with my flat mates and there bought some items and went home to read up on chapter 3 of the strategic brand management then cousins called and chat with them and went out to the latern festival in town.
Its like the latern festival that we have in Singapore and its crowded! With performances from the chinese culture. PS: it’s the only time and place where you see the popular Asian street food or finger food with chilli! Noodles, mi fen, fried chicken at $5, Taiwan sasuage at $3, curry chicken roll at $2, candy apples at 2.50 and durian roll at $1.
Tried the chicken curry roll and durian roll. Not much durian in it! Cant even taste durian in the first place then the chicken curry roll? Its like spring roll just they replace the turnip with curry chicken used for curry puff. There is also fresh durians and logan and coconut but didn’t try it. Then one thing to know is the rubbish area, there be staff there to point to your where you have to throw your rubbish in the bins. A good way to recycle! Took some photos but have to went home early due to the last bus leaving on 8.30 so ya miss the fireworks.
Back home, I finish reading chapter 3 and then join my flat mates for beer. Drank like 4 and half bottles and went to sleep.

Was suppose to study brand management during the day and then go to park and sav in the later afternoon but then may and rest ask me if I wanna go to new market so yup. Saw this puppy at school and went to play with it, his name is bluster and then I went with them to the train station and the station was closed for works, so we went down and up searching for a bus to the new market and find that the Lim’s market is down the road and what the map that unitec give to us circle at. Anyways walked back to the railway and hoop on the replacement bus that just come and off we go to new market. Season clearing is not everytime. We got our meals at mac and I got bacon, tomato and vege, coke and fries at $5 By now the clearing went less in farmers and we shopped around and I bought a checked jacket coat at $10 from the orginal of $30 at Valley girl. Then may, jimmy and I took the bus back to mt albert and went to Lim’s market where I bought like sweet plums 8 for $3 plus, corns at 4 for $1.50, soy sauce at 1.27, lamb shoulder at 3.56. There were all kinds of pork meat there but I got sick of it and want to buy lamb, those were like pig ears, heart, kidney, ox brain, kidney, tail or something and they have frozen durian at 10 plus! Here its hard to find bitterground, durian, trupid, rambuttan and bean curd or the ikan billies.Then we like went back home and I cut the lamb into pieces before I store them into the fridge. Got a new apartment mate and she’s from Russia. Anyways at night, Han drove us to town intending to catch the latern festival but we couldn’t find parking so we decided to go today itself at the last day and there might be fireworks haha!

Well did study for strategic brand management today chapter 1 and make notes then for the afternoon, went to Auckland city to explore and found the sky tower. It’s a good thing that I am a student as I got $10 off from the usual price of $28. Went to the main obsever tower and the sky deck then there were glass floors which I have problems crossing over cos you can see what is under you! Its scary! Then after the skytower, went to walk around before I head home but Ahhhh! I miss my stop, lucky for me there was this ticket master that was going home so he drove me to my dorms! Lucky me if not I will have to walk to pak and sav and then walk home from there.
Cooked dinner again lol and the sweet potato is really cannot be cooked one -.- cos tasteless, you have to stir fry it to get some taste from it.

If you asking when is the time I shop the most, I guess it be today! Went to top up my bus pass and borrow a book this morning and went straight to take 006 to st lukes with may. We walked for a while before heading to the bus stop where bus 11 comes and take us to ohangura. It’s a 40 mins trip there and once we hit there at dress smart, we were like going into one after another to look for clearance items and I just go try as I like. She bought her clothes from espirt and me well I see if I need formal clothes by there. There is no warm clothing as they were clearing out summer clothes and then we went to walk around the streets before going on the bus to get home.
Cooked dinner that night, slice the sweet potatos into thin slices cos its not sweet than the ones from japan and cooked mifen with garlic and fry an egg

Well didn’t do much of a thing today cos I went to the library for research and to the computer lab to research too then got free bbq to save it for dinner and went back to the apartment to take my textbook and off I went to pt chavailer at the other end of the campus.

Saw this chinese shop selling clothes and stuff at reasonable price. I bought a haversack for $16 and the material was real good and light and soft! It turns out she has a place to rent for $80 per week lol.

Then went to green bay to buy sweet plums at $2. They’re really sweet and I bite one the juice flow out of my mouth! That’s cool!

Then went to countdown and want to buy chicken frames but they pack in huge amount at $4. The problem is that the fridge is too small to fit all in! so bought noodles, cream source and pasta.

Took the gecories to class and after class meet the girl to buy her textbook at $30 for a 7th edition one then its back to apartment for me. May showed me how to top up the power and ya I need to do my wil but I dun have the will to do it!

What you are seeing now is my class for business process management, its the largest class I have so far! Strategic brand management was just like 6 person in a class. Here the class are kept small so that you would not feel scare to speak out lol!
If you ever hit new zealand, this is a must try! Its really sweet here! In Singapore most of this are sour but here you feel the sweetest!
Well I not a pizza person so I pass this haha! anyway my fridge does not have space already!
I swear if my fridge was 10 times bigger! I would have bought this to store! Chicken frames! Its cheaper than meat. Even the pets are having good food! Big beef bones at 90 cents for the dogs and I mean really huge!
And yes! I did spend again but this time for this bag at $16 and a scissors at $3! This bag the material was so nice, soft and light that I like it the first time I touch it and since my sling bag is giving me a strain on my neck becos its too heavy, I decided to buy a haversack and use it for class so that when I need to carry textbooks, its in the bag!

Attend strategic brand management and then its back to the books for me in wil. Manage to read some articles and put them into the essay and what is left is the recommendations on how I could improve part. Then have a walk at the waterfall to relax and refresh my mind before I go home to cook dinner and make notes for operation management chapter 1 on my course book. Manage to secure a lower edition of the textbook so that I can save $$ from buying the 9th edition at $121.
