Left the apartment early to find my way to Pak and save the store that is renown for their cheap prices and I walked through the natural pathway that May they all taught me. Was at this junction where I need to ask for directions and there were this really nice couple with 2 dogs that drove me to the building. Pak and Save believe me is the food and vegetable version of Ikea in Singapore (the one at Tampines), their goods were like Ikea stack high up. I bought eggs at $2.99, instant noodles at $1.99, vermicelli at $0.89, chilli sauce at $3.49, oyster sauce small bottle at $2.49, Pork shoulder chop at $4.43 and dumping at$2.99 which is $22 in total when I bought hotdog for $2. One thing here is that the fish are expensive, chicken is considered too when there are priced similar to the rest of the meat. I didn’t find them selling beancurd. Lamb and Beef are priced at the same price with pork and similar in portion too, blue cheese were like 1 plus here and cheese was many here, milk was reasonable or cheaper than Singapore here. Pet food was in larger portion and their muffins and bread were in huge portions. Between the pig head in whole cost $7 so its not cheap k and dun anyhow buy and go hang in other people’s house!
After shopping walked back to the dorms and I stopped to pluck some wild apples on the roadside was busy jumping up here and there to get the apples.
When I am back at my apartment, I divided the pork into many portions and found a way to separate them in the freezer. Take one long plastic bag and put one portion of the meat for a meal in it then fold part of the plastic bag and then put another portion into another side and continue on. I used two bags to put the parts of meat together and minced meat is ex so I mince them myself haha! The apples were real sour as I pluck them from the tree so I threw them away -.-
Cooked dinner I have to finish my cabbages and carrots and then went to walk around with may and thong to pt chevalier where we went to the countdown. Saw the chicken for soup at 1 dollar plus I was like hell I been searching for this! Their lunch containers were really cute with puppies and kittes printed on them and their ice cream names was so amazing like gone fishing and money business lol! Ketcup rules over here so there is like little chilli and I have to buy another chilli cos the one I buy was too salty! Their egg were mixed white with normal eggs. Its was like cool why dun we have that in Singapore, and there was hocky poky favour in ice cream, not sure how it taste like lol
Bought a lunch box to put the frozen meat, some sweet plum and the chilli sauce! And we walked back to the apartment where we laid on the glass patch to rest. Its totally relaxing laying on the glass patch for the first time. After a rest, we went home haha
