Rhino back into the house

okies the dad is back in the cage with the mum and the first thing that they did was that Nino went to hit Rhino angry but this time Nino was too tired so she only hit Rhino for a while and that Rhino keep going to Nino hence Nino could not sleep.

Xiao hei got step on a few times by Rhino and milk run out of sight when it sees Rhino. I have to say he's fast.

Well went to buy a mutli card reader so that my cf card could get read. Since I am selling my SP 560 UZ off a $350, the usb cable would be given to the seller.

Hammies

I guess the sayings really true that when you spend more time with something or someone, its very hard to part with them. This is also one of my weakness that I try to overcome...sometimes I really to emotional for no reasons...sometimes I really wanted to be emotionless. Many a times, I tried to hide my emotions as I dun want others to see the weaker side of me. So I rather shut myself away from the world and spend time alone. One reason for this is so that my friends would not see the other side of me that I tried so hard to hide from. I dun want to be too expressive infront of my peers. To let them see the other side is like...seeing a weaker side of me...I rather people see the size of me playing pranks on others.

In life, parting is a way of life...something that I tried very hard to hide from it. At times there are times when I feel the urge of going forward giving my peers or my mum a hug to either hide my fears or to express how much I dun want to part with them but I wont...I just stood them and look cool and act dun bother probably cos I really dun want people to see the weaker side of me. One example is when my bro was leaving for japan for his competition, as much as I was feeling sad and on the verge of crying and want to give him a hug cos the thought of him leaving makes me like so unwilling to part with him, but in the end i hold back my tears and reject his hug cos I really was hiding that side of me. I really trying very hard to be unbeat in all circumstances. Any sight of giving in to me is like thats so not cool or unlike me.

Anyway, my bro is thinking of giving away some of the first batch of hammies as there is too much that he could handle as he say that they bite him but they seldom bit me lol.

In terms of handling, the lao da is more gentle as she (maybe he) would not tend to escape from my hands so soon compare to its brothers and sisters. However all of them do not like to be handle with its belly facing up.

Her/his fur is also the lightest brown colour among the other 2. Then there's the little one which takes after his mother chilli padi temper the most. It is also the one that makes its mum and dad angry often and the most picky among the 5.

The belt girl has went to wear her pants, in her cage with lao da, she is the one playing the wheel more frequent and also the second tamest.

Then the 2nd brother, he's more yellow and more active. He going to catch up with his dad size.

The fourth is mr pants who has now grow to be more and more like his mother. He loves the wheel too but not as often as lao 2. Also I'm worry about him as his nose does not seem that normal.

Lucky, My mum is passing a law that no second births are to be given away. The 3 form her kopi team. With the lao da nicknamed Xiao Hei, Kopi O, blackie (he's the largest in the pack and also the first black pudding) then come Kopi, Tae, Brownie (the brown one which is the middle size hammies, it took after its parents love for the wheel) and the smallest milk, peanut (i call him that) is the last one to open its eyes and that it too went to the wheel but due to its size, it needs more strength to turn the wheel.

This 3 teasures are more clever since Nino does not go to them that often, they went to their mum for feeding instead.

Lets see how xiao Hei flare as the boss of his pack when he grows up.

Testing photo shots

Created a light tent out of sticks, rubber bands and papers and tapes just to see the effect of the white tent that was sold in the forums.

The look alike effect. the only thing is that the light could not shine through the paper which the light tents could

Went to test on my camera using a diffuser ( well i used the tap water diffuser cloth and a rubber band around the flash area and this is the effects i got.
Would be researching more regards to the fliter/ diffuser area such as the bounce card etc.

C905

Da Jie renewed her contract and got a C905 from M1 at $198 as she has a 100 dollars off vochuner. She got the sliver one since I told her the brown and pink colours are not that appealing.

First thing that you have your hands on the C905 is that its weight. If you are used to those thin models then you will feel the weight diff in your hands and also in your pocket.

The best thing about this phone is its 8.1 mega pixels which works like those pocket digital cameras as it got auto focus (most phones do not have), auto flash when taking photos (flash light), web balance settings, marco and other scenes model (diff from other cameras), self timer and those modes like sep, monochome. Below are the sample pictures that I took with it (more on my facebook).

Although it has a marco mode, small objects tend to be out of focus due to its inability to focus on the object. (should sony have insert a manuel focus function too, this might be better).
After long usage, this phone will be heated and you could feel the heat when holding onto it which is not a good advantage for the C905.

Wifi is present although i still have figure out how to connect using wifi, however using the GPRS to connect to the pages:
Facebook- allows you to view comments, save pics but no uploading of pictures.
SIM- cannot go into check the student portal.
Twitter- cannot go in to update status.
Clubsnap- can view forums but cannot log in to reply to the posts.

GPS is cool and also it allows you to mark the location of where you took the pictures so that you would know where you took them.

Thats all that I did explore for now as my da jie is screaming when i keep using her gprs to surf. However i do know that you can set the settings on the phone so that you can log in to msn messager to chat with your friends.

Auto rotate is also cool in that phone. Hence if you want to buy the phone M1 has the cheapest offer currently.

Kopi O and Kopi open their eyes

Kopi O and Kopi as my mum would call them has finally open their eyes! Now I am waiting for Milk to open its eyes. The 3 darlings were my mum's favourite. She nick named kopi o, kopi and milk cos to her the black one looks like black coffee, the white one looks like milk and mix them together you would get kopi! (black coffee add milk).

Personally I like the 3 little additions, not only do they make the total of hammies offsprings to be 8 (huat ar!) and the whole family to be 10. Also I not sure whether there such a thing as a black pudding but kopi O is a black pudding which is first of the kind or not common. Also Kopi O's smart or should i say this present batch, they would go to their mother for milk instead of the mother going to feed them.

The Big Idea

Went with Kite and Kaevan to PS yesterday for a meetup and also a photoraphy trip with Kite. I have to admitif it werent for her, we would not have got thatgreat a seats. Went there with the intention of using the big idea of the mediacorp event to pratice my manuel shots and the most important thing is having more chances to shoot humans. Since I would always feel uncomfortable about going off the streets and take a direct shots on the people on the streets cos they might be unhappy towards it. Yesterday shots turn out quite satisfying, I only find myself adding sharpness once to most of the pictures and thats all. There was a few that went overexpose to me as it happen when i did not change the shutter speed when change from close up shot to group shots as i need a higher apeature or shutter speed to make it darker. It was so pack and I could only position myself at a single position as the people were squeezing in big time!
Also I did a couple of shots more for TPH cos thought Aud might want to look at it more, Zoe for jean (i think she likes her?) and fel, elv for the rest.

Well as the saying says jing yi chi zhang yi chi, I did grow when I do more of the photography shots that I seldom did.

Bro on Dean list

Returned from bro's dean list ceremony. He's been on it for the second year. Keep this up and he be getting dip with merit upon graduation. While the refreshment were like -.-" beehoon, chicken wing, nugget etc

Nino 2nd pups!

Its only been a month over since Nino have her five cute little devils and now she give birth to 3 little pups. I found it when i was petting her. So Rhino has officially become a nanny daddy to his 5 kids lol.
Nino is now resting at the home herself, while Rhino was now with his kids in the another tank.

Ok its almost a week since Holiday started and I haven got a job yet. So I took time off to leverage on the places that I never been to before or to revisit places again.

This is where it all begins!

Well this is where it all begins! I was like getting ready to meet my friends in the settler's cafe last year when I come across the court advertisement about the red thread sale. There were having items on clearance and I saw this ad on olympus sp 560 at $299 instead of the usual retail price of $749 at that time. So my mum drop me off at courts to purchase it since she say its good to invest in one good camera for the taking of family shots.

This baby introduce me to the concepts of shutter speed and apeature and I begin to look up things such as iso and white balance. Its runs on 4 AA batteries and XD card.

This was the first picture that I took using the camera. Its all in the auto which is very much everything is set for me. I did not use the apeature and shutter mode then. This picture was taken on the first outing in hot park which marks my first photo taking outing and I was taking pictures till my mum went in for her graduation ceremony already lols!

It was later like in end 2008 and early 2009 that I use a bit on apeature but mostly on auto mode cos I still cant get the concept of apeature and shutter.

Also I was looking through club snap at that time to see how i could improve on my photos and also to see if i could strike gold meaning find very off bargin dslr online.
Also I tired of bringing ons of 4 AAs batteries on every trip. and to speak of this baby is not for taking shots in flash mode. Give it about 6 shots, I have to change battery but...its works for taking celebrities photos as I might be unable to get a good view, I could always relied on the live view taking mode from it. I went to celebrities autograph session such as Lolipop, Genie, Derrick so that I could gain experience on taking photos in extreme crowded situations.

At the lolipop event, I first learn out things like manuel focus and also lock focus and the trustly reporter mode which it was used to snap Wei Ling walking from the event haha!

If I not wrong, it was like 7 Jan this year that I secured the e410 from one of the online sellers at $350 for the camera and the short lens. Its fits in as it was the whole smallest camera that fits into my hands, fit in my budget and also that it support XD card which means at any point of time, I could have a CF and XD card in it.
Still I was not fully using its functions. I remember that when I took it to the first botanic and Zoo trip, I was like setting things to the minimium using Auto mode. However i did start using apeature mode.

When the puddings come, I did try my first manuel focus on Nino!

It was not until the puddings were born (hint: Someone give them names man! or I be refferring them as the 5 little devils hahaha) which I find that auto mode will not work on them.

First: There are too small to auto focus

Second: Given the lighting condition, it is impossible to take it on auto focus mode as either the shutter wont go or that the picture turn blurrly.

So given the conditions that the 5 cutie devils make me through, I set my first manuel shooting as in setting all to manuel: manuel focus, iso, white balance, metering, colour, sharpness, contrast, monochome, shutter and apeature.

Each day I learn bit by bit to set the E410 to take pictures of them. And taking them day by day makes me adapt to the manuel mode.

Then through the first taking of the model with E410 outside, I was made to set the shutter and apeature regular.

Hence my pictures was in the manuel mode now a days.

Cons: friends waited long cos I have to set focus manuelly haha!

The flower picture: took multi shots as I will tend to move. One thing on E410 is without image stablization and that the live mode does not really project the image well, its different when viewing it on com. Most of my photos are in vivid which is better when uploading to com.

A trip to East Coast

8 May the day after my last paper, I went to River Valley to get my pair of golden class tickets from olympus and after that I took bus 32 to katong and walked over to east coast park.

Sadly, the beach is not as it used to be when I was a kid. Last time I remember that the beach was a clean and free place to run about but now, red ropes bounded it as unstable coast areas and the beach was filled with rocks and bricks. Its not the sea that we used to have anymore. Its quite sad since last time the beach was like the only get away for me to relief my stresses. Its been a long time since I walked along the beach without my shoes on or like jump into the water to play...
I hope in time to come, the beach will restort to it once was! Anyway Photos from east coast. Most in facebook.

Water skiing? haha! Going to east coast was a right choice, all the pictures I took for this field trip was all manuel settings. Its a good learning experience cos when taking in the beach, you have to change to different settings all the time. more shutter speed and apeature if the light is directly to your camera and less shutter (60 to 80) and apeature when taking in the shade. Also its my first time taking water sports.

This totally rocks! if it were to be closer than it will look more professional!

The sun setting! this one needs high shutter and apeature. I set my monochome effect to blue. Which i could chose from yellow, red, blue, green , purple and serphia.

After a long day time for Koi! man the first thing my bro took me on MSN is he want the golden class ticket haha. Later we found out that one ticket is $28 each haha with private lounge too!

After months of camping at home, its good to shout out that Exams finally over on the 7 may! Well the final OT exam was like really a test of your critical thinking skills and very reluctent to say that for each question I could only interlink it with 2 other concepts other than the main question and that when interlinking I might be close to out of point. Also it marks the longest paper that I even written. 5 pages for question 1, 7 pages for question 2 and 6 pages for question 3.

Well went to celebrate with the girls after that and also to celebrate Jolene and May's birthday. After lunch went to watch X-men: wolverine orgins. Have to admit it it was nice! and then after that I'm too tired to go timber with them. Went home and did a record breaking by sleeping at 9 plus! Its been way long since I done that haha!

Point to note! I better get faster with my manuel focus! Its taking me damn long to focus before taking a photo haha! I wonder if my friends were like: ^^" faster...we pose very long ....

My Prize redeemed!

Went to river valley and got my prize from olympus! Its a pair of golden class tickets to any movie I want at any time at either Vivo City or Great World City. Now GV golden class is showing xmen and star trek which one is i watched and the other I have no intention to watch. I can use it anytime between now and before sep. When Angles and Demon is out...I wonder if mum wants to go and watch it with me...its been a long time since she watch movie since 881 and she never been there before so like want to take her there to experience it. Its the best seats in the cinema. Haha!

PS: just come back from east coast and I am enjoying L size koi bubble tea!
